unfortunately no good, i got time crisis 3 booting by putting all the files from the archieve link into a zip and the chd but same issue, cannot shoot anywhere with mouse. i can shoot and press pedal but the shot doesnt hit anything, looks like i might need to go into test screen and calibrate but i cant find a control to enter test menu

Does anyone have or know how to create a working chd for the English version of Wangan Midnight? I know some people have gotten it running but I've tried everything I could in chdman and nothing worked

What is the full name of your source file?

Is it this one?

I suggest you use the Japanese version, the file name is wmn1-a.chd, the English version is currently not working, it may be a wrong dongle or an incomplete chd file.

NM00008 WMN1-A (CD-ROM).iso.gz

Do you know how to use these files? Will it be converted into a CHD format file?

If you don’t know how to use it, please unzip it first, and drag the dongle file to the path with the left mouse button: C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Play Data Files\arcaderoms
There is a wanganmd.zip in it, drag it into this .zip compressed package
iso file you need to use chdman to convert to chd。

You must put chdman.exe and Step2 ISO to CD-CHD.bat in the same folder, and keep the whole path in English or numbers。

我有一个最新的发现，就是img可以直接转换为chd，比如Taiko Master 14，我这样转换就可以正常工作了，但是之前一直不能正常工作。

Step3 IMG 转CHD.bat

chdman.exe可以通过下载最新版本的mame模拟器获得。

I found mine here on the IA, I don't remember the converted chd sizes and I can't test right now but they're the same for JPN and EXP on archiveimage.png.c997d8324c186002be215ac49cc45bcc.png

with the latest build, time crisis and vampire night works fine in openGL but "cobra the arcade" work only in vulkan (low resolution and poor image quality.....)

The emulator is currently in its infancy and is not perfect, but I personally think it is very good and the performance is amazing.

I concluded that if you want to start smoothly and see this interface, you must use OpenGL mode.

The integrity of a game is divided into 2 stages of development:

1. Have all the complete game files, complete chd and dongle files and other attachments. If this stage is not met, it will be catastrophic. Due to the long period of time, many game hardware has been eliminated, and the relevant files cannot be traced.

2. Based on the complete file, the simulator can perfectly run various JAMMA, PCB, IO, CARD R/W, Network. Obviously, the second stage needs time to digest and achieve perfection. This is the most important thing for any simulator. The process that needs to go.

At least in relation to Capcom Fighting All-Stars I can say that the dump exists but those who have it will not release it, at least not publicly.

Even because Capcom finds out it's going to Hell after whoever releases the dump publicly. Who knows in a few years. I am not sure about Starblade, maybe it is only private too like CFAS.
