Didn't know there's a custom server for INFINITAS. . . How up to date is this?

Works on latest official data, straight from KONAMI, yeah, just works.

There were things I never bothered to figure out, like why the Control Panel doesn't work when trying to login with your auth token, so I just continued playing stock, which is perfectly fine for me, but if somebody else wanted to tackle it, I don't think it'd be hard to do, the project is seemingly either abandoned or no longer being updated via GitHub, but I can confirm it is being used as a base for several invite only Konaste servers.

It uses MongoDB, you can use Compass to view and edit the DB directly, just be careful.

beatmania IIDX INFINITAS Server + Client Launcher

Not exactly a secret, I've been using it for a while and a friend recently brought it up, thought those less tech savvy might appreciate it.

Instructions:

  1. Download INFINITAS from the official website:
    https://p.eagate.573.jp/game/infinitas/index.html

  2. Install and make sure you can login using your normal KONAMI account

  3. Download the build here: https://gofile.io/d/AYo3uk (or build it yourself from the source linked at the bottom of this post)

  4. Start the server and control panel using the included start.bat

  5. Open the Client and select the settings cog top right, point it to your local server (http://127.0.0.1:25730/), go back and set your options in the settings cog by IIDX, (Audio, Display, Language etc., then press start the game.

The client is entirely in Chinese but the game runs fine in JP, KR and EN.

Make sure you've installed MongoDB and try again, that should fix it, I just tested it on another machine and it works fine with MongoDB installed.

I just tested the build I uploaded and everything definitely works, just make sure you have MongoDB Compass installed too.

image.png.ec1832092b3196d7253258cc0c46dcac.png

You can check it's running also via Compass

image.png.f021f9562186be9b84e3df5198cdd8c8.png

If you know what you're doing, you can customise your settings without any issues and add Bits to your profile, you can even import scores from AC to INFINITAS.

Dig into the database, you need to set up _something_ but I never got that far personally, although I did figure out all the UI customisation in the end, that was cake, I'll faff with Premium Pass stuff when I find it, a friend has made a Web UI that exports the correct JSON format for things but it's not quite done.

do i still need to update the client before running the custom server? and can i use the custom server for downloading songs?

A little confused and not sure if I missed something or what, but when I open up mongodb compass and establish a connection I don't see the laochan-eacnet dropdown. The game itself works fine, profile created, scores save etc. but it would be nice to be able to change note skins and bombs, etc. I'm using the laochan build in your original post. I'm probably in over my head with all the db shit tbh lol I just want thick photon notes and gold bombs and I'm not finding anywhere to change them in game unless I'm just blind.

English Laochan Client

https://github.com/JoycieC/client-english

Just an English translated version of the client.

Messy Web UI to import and export JSON

https://github.com/JoycieC/OVER-HORIZON/releases

Customisation Web UI and more.

This is based on another project, it was stripped out and modified using AI just for a quick turnaround, so expect some bugs, just export your Laochan server DB JSON files, upload them to the Web UI, modify, export, import into DB, triple check everything before you import, make sure it's correct.

Create Collection in MongoDB where needed.

The horizon-supplement.json file has song data, upoload this also to view and remove scores properly.

p2d_rival_data.json > Rival Data
p2d_customize_setting.json > Customisation
p2d_item.json > Unlocks, can be purchased using Bits
p2d_music_data.json > Scores, can be migrated from KONAMI official if you parse the data correctly
p2d_option.json > Additional stuff, might need rehashing properly to work though

If you're using a vanilla Laochan server, the INFINITAS ID will start with L-CHAN-XXXX, verify this and your token are correct when uploading and exporting.

Have fun.

EDIT:

I've attached full sample data to this post, and fixed the export.

Ah right, sorry the export expects the user to already have an existing profile, an oversight, oops, I've attached a full blank p2d_customize_setting.json to this post, and you can see the code below.

The token is missing from the export, this part should always be at the top, "_id": "token", is required so that it can map it to your profile.

Nice, I'm glad it worked out, I've updated the tool to output the correct format now, I've updated it to add animated Note Explosions and Judgement Font, some more customisation options but absolutely no guarantee of Lane Covers working beyond Virus Funk, or options beyond RESIDENT until KONAMI implements it all or I bother reviewing the files properly.

No further updates likely, this is enough for now.

Hi! everyone!

BM3Omni add 4 sp only songs from PS2『まほろまてぃっく 萌っと≠きらきらメイドさん』, Please make sure to read "Readme.md" carefully before use.

Update data just copy all folders inside `data` into your `data_mods > your_bm3omni_folder`, merge and replace.

I hope everyone can find enjoyment in the older songs. I like maid.

Nice, thanks for the English client, and the explanation for the customization, I was able to get mine looking good now.

Maybe somebody can fix the control panel as well or finish off the server? This is so much easier to set up compared to AC, since it's just a vanilla INFINITAS install.

I don't think you can do this with Laochan's server judging by the code, you might have more luck with Mermaid if you get that set up:

-removed-

It's (seemingly) more fully featured and supports more games (All maybe? AC + EAC), you'll probably also have a lot more luck asking in one of the many Discords though tbh, they're more active than here, if you get Mermaid up and running score migration should be simple, like it is for the Laochan one, if you care about them.

Yeah, I figured as much. I usually play AC data so it's not really a huge deal. I only use Infinitas for a secondary setup or for bringing with me to places where I don't necessarily want to make it super apparent I'm running data. I've been keeping my eye on the discussion in 1CC over the past couple of days though. I'll take a look at the mermaid github. I had forgotten all that stuff got published, lol.
