The loading screen also boosts much quicker when using jconfig.

umm im playing with teknoparrot and i get those characters now.  may have updated or some shit but anyway your original thing is not true now.

copier le fichier monitor_input.bin à la racine, à côté de TekkenGame.exe et normalement c'est bon

Some people have shared that after running the Teknoparrot version and playing for a while and then go back to the main menu, the newer characters appear the next time you start the game again.

yip  the same .  very good game,very playable  but i get multi fps problems. starts out at 45fps which is way too slow, then in the 2nd round I get 65- 75 too fast. it seems to then taper off to normal 60fps for a period of time then start the thing all over again .   someone told me to use a fps controller thing rev tuner (or something?)

I only ever played for about 20 minutes as the final the Ultimate PC version has more characters and runs better.

It could also be a GPU thing as well. Although not playing for long, I never experienced any FPS issues.

well i have a very common setup tho as you can see nvida cards and cpu. but possibly could be my monitor .  still playable and i 2nd that remark about the pc version, however arcade version is what id like most .but u are right

Try updating your graphics drivers and install a profile driver for your monitor. 

Yeah, very similar but I guess the arcade version does feel more "arcadey" !

I'm unfortunately having a black screen problem after the initial launch logo.
2 CPU threads become maxed out and RAM usage hovers around 95 to 100MB.

OS is Windows Server 2016 (basically Windows 10 1607) and the graphics card is an R7 360 using the latest 1607 compatible drivers.

Make sure you're running the latest dump not an older one.

What is last DUMP??? There is 2 dumps here (a .ISO file and a .7z), I try both with everything, no lucky, same to many. There is another DUMP???

Would it not hurt to re-upload the new dump with a different filename?
I've tried 2 downloads at this point, and my 10/1 Mbps DL/UL bandwidth is not gonna let me test the other mirrors very fast.

I have reinstalled drivers,reinstalled vcredits,directx,Windows 10 Pro 64 bits,Windows 10 LTSC 64 bits.

Ok , I have actualized today the CPU i5 4690k (4 cores)

 

Start Windows 10,start Tekken 7 with Teknoparrot ,no more black screen,it works perfectly!.

 

My new hardware :

 

i5 4690k (4 cores)

6gb Ram

GTX 960

 

Note : For Tekken 7 it is necessary more than 2 cores, this is the solution to the black screen.

As others have said you might have hardware limitation. You need at least 2 cores. I have an 8 cores cpu with a 2080 ti on windows 10 and it works like a dream. Didn't need to change anything or install to any specific folder.

It's NOT A HARDWARE LIMITATION stop that! It's something else missing/option disable.

There is user with Intel i3, 16GB RAM and Nvidia nv1050TI OC or better with same issue.

There is many PC setups better mine and don't work.

 

Strange it's all games until now run perfect (some with tweak for low quality), like SWBP, with same engine, but ONLY T7 don't start!!!

Hi all, just want to share my experience so anyone that is going to try to fix black screen can skip what I did because it did not work for me.

 

Formatted my pc to windows 10 1803

Installed all in one runtime (essential for other games as well)

Installed Direct X SDK June 2010 that fixed my mario kart dx

Installed NVidia driver 

 

After installation, i run the game through teknoparrot and JConfig. Both result to  black screen.

 

I have not tried NoKey's fix for NVIDIA because my install does not contain the folder NVcontainer.

 

I hope someone will discover a fix for black screen issue

Ffinally someone said that it's not a problem to have a smaller CPU.

I tried everything with 3 diffrents PC+Graphic Cards allways black screen on start, I think the problem is in the game not recording data inside the files that are in the folder C:\users\(Account name)\ AppData\Local\TekkenGame

or some connection to internet.

Too many people and too many PC setup with that, wtf?!?!?

Update to my test. I'm starting to be convinced that it might be the number CPU cores which causing black screen.

 

I tried on my asus X550lb i7 2 cores initially and i'm just having black screen.

 

Second test on a different machine asus F555L i7 2 cores still black screen

 

Third test on asus FX504gd i7 6 cores works perfect.

 

Too bad i only own X550lb which is a very old model. If anyone knows a workaround please share specially to those who manage to make it work on 2 cores only (if there are any).

Made a mistake and changed 4 cores to 6 cores for asus fx504gd.

I can confirm that this game only works with a minimum of 3 cores.

 

I know others may thinks that 3 cores does not seem right but i made a test on a machine that can adjust the number of active cores in bios.

 

2 cores resulted in black screen.

 

3 cores or more , the game works perfect. Even the speed is correct compared to xbox version.

Hello.

 

Tekken loads fine but i have a triple screen configuration on my PC and the game spans on all 3 displays and the FOV is wrong resulting in a zoomed in image how can i fix this ?

 

I want to either contain the game in one screen or fix the FOV

I'm wondering this myself but I'm not certain that Tekken 7 ever supported local multiplayer. It may have only been designed to work over the Nesica infrastructure.

For me it didn't worked "as it" if I correctly understood when you use JConfig, you directly launch game executable right? It didn't worked for me. I was forced to use Game Loader All RH (telling him to use JConfig) for it to work. Anyway, fullscreen is working but even editing ini file to have a 3840x2160 resolution don't give good results:

Seems like TeknoParrot version is having best result but I can't download it since file is too large to download it from uptobox without an account. Does anyone could share original Tekken 7 FT executable compatible with TeknoParrot please? The one from this release result in a "Unsupported executable" error and seems like original executable hasn't been backuped on that repack :/

Finally got it to work without the use of GLARH, thanks to those two comments :

Copying monitor_input.bin at root with TekkenGame.exe wasn't enough for me, joystick was mad. I added monitor_input.misc but result was the same. I had to include JConfigTK7.exe too and now it works... but seems like sometimes it crash quickly at launch! lol

 

Anyway, again I can't see no difference, seems like I am trying to do better when it's not possible? Did TeknoParrot executable will provide some gain?

 

FINAL EDIT:

 

I ticked parameter on TekkenGame.exe properties to launch it as administrator and sometimes it works sometimes not (UAC are disabled) and I tried to launch game using RocketLauncher... Game isn't launching at each try. I need to understand why (it occurred launching directly TekkenGame.exe or even through RocketLauncher). Using TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe gave same result : a random launching or closing game...

 

And something really surprising happened... BEST RESULT! I really need somebody to explain me why I have better result launching it through RocketLauncher when settings are the same...

 

I don't even understand why.... but I think I don't need original executable for TeknoParrot anymore ^^

 

I just need help to understand why game is working when he decided to! But after multiple tries I can confirm launching it through RocketLauncher gave best result! Last try I had to launch 3 times game through RocketLauncher before it launched succesfully. Two first times it closed immediately.
