Fixed my original issue. 

 

But, controls are difficult. I have an Ipac2 and would like to get 2 players working. The remap.ini doesn't seem to work. And I tried to cheat the system by running an AHK swapping the hot keys, but the game doesn't seem to respond to them...

 

Anyone get this game (madden) working with remaped controls for 2 players? If so, please let me know how you managed to do so and if you have a remap.ini you could share or an AHK for someone using a keyboard/ipac 2 that would make my day

I have it working here, using an ahk to remap my arcade controls to the original keyboard buttons, could never remap it in either of the ini files so decided to use ahk option

How did you fix your original issue. I keep utilizing the launcher and game instantly closes on me.

@Tiberius - Would you mind sharing your ahk with me? I can't seem to get it working that route either.. 

 

@rockohoward - I just installed it on a different computer and that worked.

How did you get the controls to work? When I press p1 or p2 start, I can only select either training or exhibition mode, I can select my team and press start to play, but it just goes into an attract loop. Also. how do I get my xbox controller to work?

Does your copy of the game only have training and exhibition game choices?

Yes, the game only has those 2 options as the servers were shut down long ago

Still Have My PGA Tour Golf Arcade VMware i but work on but ask for I/O Board. and aiso i did some more global vr games on vmware like nascar racing and Redline Rampage and Twisted Nitro Stunt Racing and Vortek V3.

You gotta explain how you got underground to work with 3d acceleration on t hat VMware.... I am puzzled
