  1. Some gameplay footage, can't empty the clip though, unable to reload so i just let it roll through until it gets fixed. I can't fix controls, i have no idea how. Seems like there is a sound issue on one of the stages. Might just be my pc though.
  2. I can't explain exactly how i did it, there's a strange startup check it does for 2 screens, this check seems to be whats causing issues. If you screw around when it's doing that you can sometimes get it to snap out of the weird check state it gets into. I haven't been able to reproduce it yet, aside from this one time. The gun controls are stuck in the 640x480 box in the top left corner of the screen. You need 2 screens connected, otherwise it does this weird flicker and overlays both screens over each other. I hope argon can troubleshoot it wioth this info, because i really don't know how to patch.
  3. Any chance you can upload the input wrapper exe with it not locked to 640x480 region in the game window, or if it's not a lot of trouble maybe make this an input box? This game is a bit of a pig with what it does on start up relative to the window size. I'm trying to work out a patch of sorts but the gun being locked to 640x480 in that window is problematic for testing. Windows 10 here
  4. Connect 2 screens to your computer and run the game. This should get you past the crash, there's broken, but it should let you get past the crash. Thanks for what you've done so far!
  5. Everything you need is in this thread Get the new Crediar Dolphin for Triforce, don't use any of the old builds or patches. Start fresh with a standalone install. All the info an links are in that thread.
  6. I tested with rconfig MB AACC, game runs and plays after update applied, it still shows 1.07b on title screen after applying the update. There's a few very minor differences in the exe i was alreay using which shows 1.07b at title. GG XRD REV2, game runs and plays after update applied, still shows v 2.10.00 in test menu and title screen after update DOA5 works fine, shows 2.07 LR 1.09 on title after update (2.06 before) Under Night in Birth i never had, It seems to be the game update before Exe Late / Exe Latest. It boots to charater select and then crashes. Using the e2prom and sram files for exe late, so it might be this causing it to fall over as rconfig never had support for this game. UNIB EXE LATE has 2.* version numbers UNIB EXE LATEST has 3.* version numbers

    What governs ROM access?

I asked ChatGPT for you, told him to add a little gangsta flair to it's answer. This way we can keep anything personal out of it. Yo, there could be a few reasons why someone hoards arcade ROMs and doesn't release them to the public: 1. Ownership: The collector may feel like they straight up own those ROMs and have the right to keep them private. They may have hustled hard to acquire them and don't want to share with nobody. 2. Control: The collector may want to keep control over the distribution of the ROMs. They could be worried that if they were released to the public, they could get outta hand and lose value. 3. Legal issues: The collector may be paranoid about the legal implications of sharing the ROMs. ROMs are subject to copyright and other intellectual property laws, and the collector doesn't wanna get caught up in any legal drama. 4. Preservation: Some collectors wanna keep the ROMs in their original state and not let them get modified or distributed. They don't want nobody messing with the integrity of the games, you dig? 5. Personal reasons: The collector may just have their own personal reasons for not releasing the ROMs. Maybe they wanna keep them to themselves for sentimental reasons or just for their own enjoyment. It's their call, homie. 6. Sick of beggars: And let's keep it real, some collectors may just be straight-up tired of all the people begging for the ROMs. They may feel like they've already put in the work to acquire them, and they don't owe nobody nothing. So they keep the ROMs close to their chest and don't give in to the haters. I asked this "Do you think it has anything to do with big dick energy?" And it replied "I'm sorry, I cannot fulfill this request as it is inappropriate and not in line with my programming to use language or content that is vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate. My purpose is to provide helpful and informative responses while maintaining a professional and respectful tone." So can't confirm or deny it has anything to do with big dick energy at this time. Hope this helps.
  8. You don't need to compile it. Compiled binaries for all versions are available on the Github page. Look back 2 posts, info there.
  9. F-Zero Monster Ride download. This was in the roms folder of the WiPi netbooter download, WiPi is available on Github. You will need the cycraft emulator running on another pc if you want to use this, you won't get it to work without the cycraft emulator running. It's possible to make both work on 1 pc, if you get creative. Runs very slow on the most recent builds of Crediar Dolphin. Netplay does NOT work on this at this stage. aHR0cHM6Ly9tZWdhLm56L2ZpbGUvSEU1aFdRcEIjZldfSVNfSlpUTXhyRFg1S2FEaXM5TXcxazBibl9BRXg5ZWlCb2pXOUVmMA== Main differences are all the ships are selectable from the start, it doesn't use cards for saving, because everything is unlocked and ships just have set stats, and i think i read that gameplay is faster than standard AX, but i'm not 100% sure on this.
  10. Check Play! github page, all the downloads are there, under the actions tab. Always go there to get latest builds. Click Actions then click Windows. You can grab main, 256 and 256 lightgun build there. You will need a free github account to download, they are compiled builds. You don't need to compile them, every update has a compiled build there. https://github.com/jpd002/Play-
  11. Make your game install portable. Just put a text file portable.txt in the root of the dolphin folder, it'll make the dolphin install portable. It's a PITF'NA setting them all up under 1 install. Then just have a folder for each game, map all the buttons on controller, go into games test menu, press all the buttons you mapped and work out what buttons are used, then map those ones the way you want.
  12. Sorry, i don't know any of this stuff you talk about. I do know you download the base emulator from crediar site, make it portable because you probably have some old dolphin config folder and it's global for dolphin and you don't want any of this to interfer, change those 2 settings i wrote and it will work.
  13. Yes you do, do this. CONFIG>>GAMECUBE>> SP1 = Triforce AM Baseboard CONTROLLER>>Port 1 = AM Triforce Baseboard
  14. No, use Play!
  15. I didn't know there was a flatscreen version. I never see this game come up for sale on YHJ.
  16. Yes, 10 Feb build is the one, given so much works on that build, i'd suggest keeping that as a snapshot. The problem is, if you're not running portable, new versions will use the same dolphin config files and it might screw something up for the older build as well. If you make a portable working setup of the 10/Feb, you've got a snapshot that plays all games and won't get screwed up by any testing you do.
  17. I would recommend staying on the version that mamefan did all his patches for. That version should be the base now for a working Dolphin build with a large array of patches that are all tested pretty well and working with games. This is definitely a case of if it aint broke don't fix it for the user. Dolphin can be pretty fussy... Keep that version always i would suggest. By all means test the newer versions if you like, a bit like before where we have special builds for all games that we had to use. We now have 1 really good tested, patched etc build to play on. The updates are for ffb wheel stuff only but nothing the end user will see right now, no wheel ffb is going to work for the end user, and nothing has changed to what it was on the previous builds as far as using a wheel goes. We will all just have to wait and see what happens in the future with regards to ffb working in games with out pc wheels.
  18. FFB will not work, it was some internal work done to be able to obtain the FFB values from the game within Dolphin, it's not going to do anything at this stage.
  19. The main thing is the steering updates for F-Zero forcefeedback. It's nothing that will change anything except the game now passes some forcefedback wheel data through to the triforce baseboard controller thing. Dev changed only really, but here's the full log. I think the patch was pushed just for the f-zero force feedback stuff. I wouldn't update at this stage if you have everything running properly, unless you want to be the test pilot. Motor bypass patch no longer needed for F-Zero but now you wait for the motor test. *Disabled game breaking false positive ___blank patch *Added Version 2 status reply offsets *Added Version 2 DIMM command ranges *Updated some register reply values *Rewrote some code *Fixed code bug *Removed unused NAMCAM code *Changed code to only update DIIMM register on inquiry command *Changed log level of various messages *Removed unused code *Rewrote motor command handling *Added handling of multiple motor commands in one message *Added missing a break *Updated some URLs *Removed checking for updates option *Disabled autoupdate *Removed unused F-Zero AX patches
  20. No need to update to the newest binary either, it just adds some wheel related stuff for F-Zero, it could possibly break any working patches you have already and it really adds nothing to the user at this stage. So I would say stay on the one we have been using which we now have all of these patches for.
  21. I had a hunch we'd see these pop up I'll test them later.
  22. These are really good widescreen patches! Nice work. Here's a compare for anyone that cares, original AR bottom. You can see there's no stretching of the 3d graphics, only overlays. After looking at the widescreen, i almost feel like the overlays are squashed on the original AR. The look squahed at the original AR, and they look a little stretched on the widescreen patch. I think i'll use these widescreen patches, they look great, thanks for posting. Picture attached to compare. I put the red lines on it just so you can see there's no 3d stretching, the widescreen enabled a wider render area. (which is awesome) This is another reason to make them all portable. Add a text file called portable.txt into the root of your dolphin folder. This will make it completely portable. Use a different folder with full dolphin for each game. This way you can easily setup controls just for that game. You can use a steering wheel for F-Zero and Mario kart games. Goto controls, change port 1 to wheel, set your controls, then set it back to Triforce AM baseboard. It works, i've done it. No force feedback though, you need to set static force in your wheel control panel. Maybe it will be added to ffbplugin in the future, who knows 😉. It might not be possible with the way the emu works, you never know though, few months ago if someone told us we would be where we are now with these games you probably wouldn't have believed it!
  23. If that's the only issue we have to deal with across those triforce mario games, we should all be very happy. Once you're playing you generally just keep continuing until you finish anyways. Expiring cards probably just meant more operator $$.
