    Thanks Onkel.

I have it working just fine with asphyxia, but my roommate want's his own scores. It doesn't look like it's possible to have two accounts on a local asphyxia server.

Asphyxia creates *.json files  (the files that have your scores/progress/etc.) in the directory that it is run from.  You can just create a separate directory for your roommate with a copy of Asphyxia in that folder - he would just run it from that folder when he plays to access his own scores/etc.

He seems to be holding the buttons for the spins. Basically I guess that's what spinning actually does... It keeps the button pressed... But that probably won't work for high level gameplay.

Hmm interesting - but the game actually has charts with distinct left-spin and right-spins so wonder how he would handle that.  I guess for lower level charts, simply configuring spin in one direction would work.   Anyone know if Museca has in-game options for "auto-spin" and/or "auto-pedal" ?

I can't run that game, how did you managed to launch it in the first place?

Also once you get it working, would recommend you try to get the Butterfly tool up and running to emulate eAmusement server functionality.  You'll be able to save scores/progress, and using a SQLlite editor, customize WebUI only options such as arrow-skins, preferred dancer, etc...   Asphyxia is another eAmusement "emulator" that works with a lot of Bemani games, but I could not get that one to work with DDR Ace - kept getting "eAmusement network congested" error after entering card pin.

use spicetools latest version and check Smart E-Amusement should say maintenance that's how I got passed the card reader screen but if you complete all the songs at the end it will have that screen again

Same here. Was working. New patch black screen. Good thing i backed up.

Got it working! Had to delete the dxgi.ini file, it replaced it with a new one once i started up the game again.

Confirmed - renamed dxgi.ini  after applying patch - file gets recreated when starting game - black screen problem resolved & game working OK.

  6. I tried applying this new version of the mod (was using older mod before) but got a black screen when I tried to run it - I could still hear game sounds though.   Fortunately I had backed up the entire directory & restored it so everything working fine again.   I am using TeknoParrot so not sure if that might be an issue with this mod.

Anyway, just a heads up to remember to backup your directory before trying this one.

    hey there everyone,

I got the game running, connected to Asphyxia and created a profile in game. But there are couple of things, first there is no sound and second no notes show up or anything when the track starts. Any help? Thanks in advance!

I actually have this exact same problem with SDVX V - no sound & when starting a song, you see the track and other screen animations but no actual notes start scrolling.   I have no problems with SDVX IV though with spicetools/asphyxia.  I know SDVX V arcade has some hardware/OS differences from SDVX IV so I assume that's where the issue lies.

In your DDR folder, there's a prop folder, open the ea-config with notepad or notepad++ (you may have in the first part of the file a JAA written) change the J to an and you'll have an "AAA". Save it of course, and play.

Why? E V E R Y O N E LOVES the announcer... *In your DDR folder go to data/sound/win AND make a backup of the voices files, replace only this file

Thanks for the reply!  I'll give your instructions a go & hopefully they work for me.

I have a20 set up with bemanitools and the butterfly server, but I can't scan in after around 3 games and I have to restart the actual game to scan again. I also removed the announcer but can't find the source file of the crowd noises and I would like to remove those as well

How do you remove the announcer in this game?

    2 options

    1. spice eamusement server emulation - just download the last spicetools and config   after for modifying webUI-only options card like guidelines etc i  dont know how.

2 . Butterfly Eamusement server -  download & install java - and download

    2.a - https://github.com/skogaby/butterfly/releases/download/1.1.0/butterfly-1.1.0.jar

2.b - create "run_server.bat" in same folder of  "butterfly-1.1.0.jar"  - modify him an put  this line

java -Ddb_path="C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Desktop\db.sqlite" -jar butterfly-1.1.0.jar     - you can change the path  put your favorite path where you put butterfly-1.1.0.jar (logic)    <- this line will run the server local

    2.c- ea3-config.xml  -  modifie <services>http://localhost</services>    and i dont know if change that make a thing <ssl __type="bool">0</ssl>.

with that  you can run the game in local mod and create a new card and save it .

2.d- change options -  open db.sqlite with a SQLite database browser - and change " ddr_16_profiles"  - you can find options to change here https://github.com/skogaby/butterfly.

dont forget to put your game in A:A:A  (english language)

Hi, could someone explain to me exactly how to set the game to English language?   I run the game with SpiceTools & Butterfly.

I don't understand what is meant by the last part mentioned above:   "dont forget to put your game in A:A:A  (english language)" .

    Thanks.

So I have extracted the game and placed the DDR12-16 files onto the root of the contents folder and once I run the gamestart-16.bat file and I get this message from CMD and the game never boots up.

After extracting the  DDR12-16  files into the contents folder,  I was able to run this with the latest  SpiceTools (32-bit) with Butterfly for eamusement emulation to save progress/scores.

  12. I was actually wondering about how people play this game without having a custom built controller.   There's this youtube video here showing someone using a IIDX controller but no explanation on how he handles the "spins" in the game:

Anyone with working Museca HDD rip figured out a good way to control this game using controllers/keyboard other than an actual custom built Museca controller?   I have a DJDao EZMax that works great on a variety of stuff but can't figure out how the "spins" in Museca would be controlled.   Can you perhaps set left-spin, right-spin, and tap all to the same key in Spicetools & have the game actually process that?   Or was there an option in the game itself for an "auto-spin" type of option - can't remember,  been a while since I played this game.

You can go here to test the server http://localhost/api/game/chuni/amazon/music

Could someone post a working link for Aqua Server - the one above isn't working for me  (just sits on blank page) ?

Will Aqua Server allow saving of scores/progress/etc. for  PDAFT  by emulating IC Card functionality?   Or Minime?   Sort of confused on how  AquaServer, Minime, and SegaTools  all interact with each other - do you need to use a combination of all these?

  14. Question regarding  idMacX Tools  &  SegaTools / MiniME as I'm not familiar with these yet - will either/both these tools allow you to emulate an IC Card and save progress for games using Aime  and/or  Nessica ?    I'm using Asphyxia to save progress/scores for some Bemani HDD games & was wondering if there is a way to get similar functionality for games such as Theatrhythm FF ASC, Groove Coaster, Project Diva, etc.
