I guess what he means that a few versions ago pressing fx-l and fx-r immediately skipped the waiting for other players and started the song. Now those two keys do skip waiting for other players but still you need to wait a few seconds.

I did update from 2025062401 to 2025120900 and feel it is just slightly more complete then the aio. the aio gave me a few black screens with a date but the updated one also showed the content (a few gifs) no big deal because they are only showed once....just something i noticed

perhaps a strange remark but why would you play synchronica or crossbeats through teknoparrot ? On subscription even? Both games already play fine without. Synchronica just plain sync_release.exe and crossbeats with segatools+artimes (need a decent fast touchscreen for both games though)

patch.zip Here is some of my handy work with a lot of copy-paste so of course so credits to the original creators (and I hope they won't mind) The gc4max patcher will allow you to patch the 4.71 game.exe (the one you get when following the guide in the first post) with only a few options. For the unlock all song difficulties I managed only to find the 'basic' unlock option offset (so all 'hard' levels are available) For the unlock 'extra hard' I think (again THINK) I did find the offset but did not manage to find the right hex patern to make it work so that one is 'commented out' in the html. If someone manage to find the right hex patern.. When running the local server solution there is no need to patch for 'unlock song' or 'avatars, titles and so on' because these will be unlocked already. So I did not even bother to look for the offsets. As always: make a copy of your game executable. I give no support nor guarantees 🙂 start patcher.html edit: I just saw (after years of use) that the fast-slow indicator is also managable from the local server.... I feel stupid now. So only the unlock song difficulty is more or less usefull.

Still get my sound not to cooperate.... it sounds a bit 'choppy/scratchy'... Video is playing just fine and I can play the game (eg. Hyperion) and fluctuates between 52 and 59 vps but again sound is not great. cpu is at 16% and gpu is at 21% load and even the clock of gpu stays at the lowest 139 Mhz so it does not seem to be a bottleneck. (32Gb, 1080ti, 8700k ... so not the greatest rig but all other games I throw at it play fine... )

what are the best audio settings? The sound is a bit choppy at my side but I do not know if this is still something which needs to be iron-ed out or if it is just me and my slightly older rig not capable enough (8700k+1080ti) Still great to see to thing of the past being emulated (I am that old that I did see this machine at my local laserdisc shop in the 90-ies)

search on this forum for 'TeknoParrot Collection (2025-02-20)' and you will have a massive torrent. Just de-select all and only pick Densha de Go. By the way: do not use teknoparrot because this game runs perfectly without and with better control over your screen setup (eg 1 screen divided in 4 small screen, 2 screens or 4).

When i configure a mouse as gun, i can only reach the left half of the screen. As if there is an invisible boundary where the cursor can not pass. Changed resolution, changed to windowed mode.. never mind: change resolution of my screen also

Beatstream is one which is native a touchgame Maimai and jubeat are not real touchgames but are really good playable as such WACCA also has some touchsupport through some workaround but IMHO not worth the effort The last three of course are better played on real hardware
