Ok. I’ll close the PR. Maybe there will be an input helper added for the Taiko series & Animal Kaiser series in the future.

So, I tried everything I could to get the drums to work in Taiko on Teknoparrot Play, and none of the JVS buttons worked, so I made an input profile for the shoulder buttons, and then did a PR for all 7 games with the input profile. That’s probably the only way it’ll work. You have to put the input (taiko_input.xml) in the input profile folder in Play data files, so the game will work properly. The Tp Devs probably will have to add a special type of input helper for those games

Try this one. I had to remove the EE frequency from the arcade def because I either got a System 256 error, or the voices sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks 🤣 kinniku2.arcadedef

Nice! I added the correct json for Cobra on my fork. Once either one of the members of the server or the devs figure out how to get the 7 Taiko games working properly that would be awesome. No rush btw

Out of curiosity has anyone made arcadedefs for Yu Yu Hakusho & other games that don't have pre-made arcadedefs excluding Taiko 12 & 13? Thank you

You should be able to insert coins as long as the arcadedef is set up properly after you convert the .img file to a CHD.

On the TP build of Play you have to load the games through the TeknoparrotUI. Otherwise it won’t work.

I'll reconvert BG3 update: I put the newest version of chdman in my 2x6 conversion folder, and extracted the CHD, made it an IMG/BIN, renamed the bin to batlgear3a, converted that into a CHD, and I booted up the game, and I actually got it to work up until after you select your course. (Hangs at The load screen in the lower right-hand corner)

Not sure why Battle Gear 3 is giving me issues. I tried several different dumps, and I either got the mismatch error, or the game would start, but just show a black screen

Sorry to be a pain, but I’m getting the file mismatch error with your arcadedef file. I downloaded the CHD from a site that had the latest dump of battle gear 3. It seems like this is the case for all of the dumps of BG3. Either that or I get a black screen. 🤔 This is with the most recent update to the Teknoparrot build of Play

My version of Battle Gear 3 just shows a black screen when I load the game. Do you have the CHD and ROMs for this game? Thank you. I know it doesn’t work properly, but when it does I’ll be able to play it
