Download the 2 bin.gz files if you already have the CHD file and the ROM. Extract them both on Winrar so you just get the .bin files. Then add the 2 .bin files into the cobrata.zip ROM file.

 

Then you need to add this file into your arcadedef folder to run the world version.

I must be misreading what you folks are saying. To get into the Test Menu you must hold down both L3 & R3 (in my case thats "V" & "M") and while holding down hit the Select button ("5" for me). This doesn't work. I also tried hitting the Start button ("1" in my case) but no dice. What am I missing?

Some of the things I am going to await to hear the results of from others but I aimed to change with this build:
1. No more errors/checks for anything that can be bypassed by spamming the 'Test' button (severe errors that prevent emulation from being possible still will show for users).
2. No more needing to use coins as free-play should now be enabled by default along with the card system and progression saving.
3. The overall process of getting signed up for your first time and the ability to get right into the game should be sped up slightly by terminating some unnecessary interfaces.
4. A crash was fixed which was caused by a faulty graphics file from one of the stages in-game.

5. Attempted to stop the game from checking for anything and throwing error messages preventing users from getting to the debug/test screen (This means that typically all users will have to use the Test/Debug key to get started playing the game but also means that users who had all needed components and still got unskippable error messages may have a chance to play too).

It's basically just a unique ID that way my server has some way to identify your progress across any sessions you play. You can just spam the generate key a bunch of times to get a random one and then once you have one you like create a new text document whereever and name it your card ID as well as paste the card ID in the text document itself. Now every-time you load into MGA press the 'insert card' key-bind and it will then load your information.  Idt Teknoparrots work with SpiceTools but I can't say for certain as I'm new to this scene as a whole. 

How do I spam the generation key to get a key?

Well now I'm at work I won't be able to do it for 16 hours

I will try with the teknoparrot key to see if it works like that

I see that there are two people that work for you.I don't know if with the teknoparrot password or by sending spam to the generation password

For anyone wanting to play this and have the ability to save their progress based on their card ID I have a server running for it currently. The only files you'll need to replace are:


Place eamuse-config.xml in the /prop/ folder.
Place ea3-config.xml in the /dev/nvram/ folder.

Should be good to go.

I am a member of the staff for the group that is currently hosting the revived PS3 multiplayer server for Metal Gear Online 2 (PS3 & RPCS3) that this game was basically entirely created off of. Over time I'd like to try to get the matchmaking and such for this working but I don't understand the inter-workings of the e-amusement clone server too well but will continue to work towards it over time. For now you can at least play and save your progress vs the AI.

Edit: These files are for the I36-2011012900 version specifically as it's the one being hosted at the moment. 

I guess I don't have that version, I have replaced those files and now the game doesn't load, thank goodness I made a copy of them
