this the error that pops up when trying to play this title. if u leave it open then it does boot into game but will crash if u close the error window. and thats after removing the xml and re-adding.

This game gets me every time i look for it. got to remember in TP, it's in the n's for new.lol

even if you change it. a update will revert it back.lol

No error at all on any Nvidia video settings or Hz. Running in Directinput. TP .1984 Using All keyboard.

That error could also be a

controller configuration conflict

Specifically, the crash log points to an issue with the SharpDX.DirectInput module. The API error DIERR_DEVICENOTREG / DeviceNotRegistered combined with the message Class not registered means that TeknoParrot is looking for a controller, joystick, or keyboard mapping configuration that the Windows DirectInput system cannot currently find or identify. but a warning. so this is why it works when you don't click on, ok. or it ends TP's script.

or

Missing or Corrupted Dependencies: Windows DirectInput files or DirectX components required by SharpDX are corrupted or missing from the operating system.

I take it your windows 11?

If remapping fails, the issue may be a corrupted DirectX architecture. Download and install the legacy DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) installer from the official Microsoft site. This restores core DirectInput and Direct3D framework files utilized by older emulation environments.

You can try this 100% working copy. not saying yours is bad. but who knows now-days.lol

i believe this issue is on teknoparrots end. maybe not. it might be the direct x thing. im checking. after booting and updating the june update it still errors and then moments later the game loaders. by passing the error but when u clock the error window the game crashes lol. this game has always had issues i think it worked 1 time when i made a video on youtube about it, when i made a video i was saying that it would crash after a bonus game and now this issue. lol

when u download the june direct x 2010 update dont forget to restart your computer, after u restart your computer remove the xml from teknoparrots ui and then re-add as i now see i dont get the error and it does boot into the game.

now another issue that is being presented is it doesnt do the 3rd line. it selects the 2nd line twice

i searched AI and it said this

 image.png.79042ef60477d85947192de386ee8f6a.png

  • Insufficient system memory

  • Corrupted or invalid data structures

  • Driver or GPU issues

  • Background processes consuming RAM

  • Overclocking instability

  • Faulty RAM or VRAM

for fixes u can try this

Common fixes:

  • Update or roll back GPU drivers

  • Lower graphics presets

  • Disable or uninstall conflicting display software

  • Verify game files

  • Increase virtual memory

the latest version im using on my 3050 NVidia is 610.47

have u tried downloading a new teknoparrot from the site to see if a separate install works. i do that from time to time. have u had any other gpus before the 3050 on the same computer? have u tried making sure all the ram is set properly on ur motherboard? if u had other gpus on that computer u can try ddu, which would wipe out any additional drivers / install of the previous setup before upgrading and then see if that fixes the issue. another thing u can do is make a ticket on the teknoparrot github and also post ur troubleshooting log. the ui provides a troubleshooting log that displays the activity. so, it shows what happens between start to finish.

The ERR08: Memory Overrun error is an underlying software crash engine code (originally a Capcom framework error) that triggers when an application completely runs out of volatile memory (RAM or VRAM) while trying to initialize or cache heavy game graphical assets.

Needs more memory . 16GB is just making it on games. at least 24GB is Needed to run in a comfort zone. 32GB is the Best.

Remember other things are asserted into your PC's memory. when it's on and running.

ALSO. have you tried a different files. I posted a link . just to make sure your starting with a game that runs 100%. you never know!. lol

You could also set it to gpu like in the bottom picture  settings. ignore my 2560X1440 165 Hz and the greyed out area is whats set(turned on) Set it to your video res.

GPU.png

Don't know if all of this is the cure. but something to try.
