Based on Karris Ninja Hayate HD, using video from RDG2011 that was enhanced by HVG, this is a reconstructed version of Ninja Hayate HD upscaled to 2k, frame by frame restored / modified by hand, edited using Filmora 13 to extract frames, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 to modify individual frames and video quality restoration using HitPaw video enhancer. I created inserts to preserve as much 4:3 aspect ratio as possible, using Google Gemini, modified by hand to blend with original footage. Level intro. based on Sega Saturn version of the game.

You can add the extra Language suffixed .ogg direct to the "Video" folder

 

 

 

Language Suffix:

 

    English    = ""
    Italian    = "-it"
    Spanish    = "-es"

    Japanese   = "-jp"

 

Other new features:

 

1)  Movement Arrows now have prompt sound.
2) Once player continue, Level will restart from the beginning.
3) 1st Scene on each Level will not display Score / Lives ( Intro Clip).
4) Level Intro can be skip, or disable on game settings (Key 9)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the first release, I am planning to add mirror levels, please report any bugs at this time so they can be fix.

Really good job. Hope someday we can get a higher resolution or cleaner source to get more details in the faces of upscale version, but until then your version will be the best.

Example on how to preserve 4:3 aspect ratio using A.I.:

 

1) I start with a single frame extracted using Filmora, I color the area I want Gemini to fill with a color easy for A.I. to remove, in this case red:

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) I ask Google Gemini to remove the red area on the left of the image, Gemini will then try to reconstruct the missing area:

 

 

3) I use this generated image to create an insert for the video clip:

 

 

4) I use Filmora to reposition video and add image insert:

 

 

 

This is only possible on scenes with static background without movement on the area cover by then insert.

Fantastic work! Just to confirm, are these versions in 4K?

I enhanced to 2K for restoration,  but the final movie is 1080 due file size, I play on a 4K monitor and looks O.K
