Is there an emulator that can play KanColle Arcade?

I want to play KanColle Arcade on PC.

Is there an emulator can play KanColle Arcade that called SDBZ (KanColle Arcade, Sega Nu1.1)?

This game is made exclusively for gtx10xx, so It doesn't seem to work on gtx16xx or higher.

I tested it with rtx4070 and it crashes on the card purchase screen.

(This is a scene where the ship is moving up and down.)
Probably the 3D model is not compatible.

SegaTools released for Kancolle and Wonderland Wars

 

But for me it crashes just after adding name to card.

And it has no sound because this game uses the WASAPI Exclusive audio mode,

meaning that it'll completely take over control of your sound output device while it's running.

Yep, the same situation with my rtx30xx graphic card.

I wonder it doesn't make any sense. Does he(nvidia) delete anything from the graphics instruction set since the 20 series?

I mean, if that's not the case, maybe there's some way for the game to recognize my graphics card as 10xx.

I got a gtx1060 the other day, so I played KanColle.
As a result, I was able to play without crashing on the Kanmusume selection screen.
However, like other SEGA games (Chunithm, etc.), play is restricted after 23:30 Japan time, so I couldn't confirm much. :’-(

→Closing time can be changed from the service menu.

On actual game consoles, your game progress is saved on your Aime card.

The Aime reading screen on the emulator is only accessible when using MiniME (not MiniME Lite) as All.net as far as I know.
Press and hold the Enter key to load the virtual Aime card.
Unfortunately, the virtual Aime card is currently unusable due to a loading error.

With uploaded file above, I have tried many times but the game always stuck at this screen.

 

I used aqua 0.0.46 & miniME v16 as ALL.Net game server, but result was same.

 

Network Connect test is shown like below...is there anything seems to be wrong?

How did you edit segatool.ini?

The pixeldrain link doesn't work, but the content is the same as MEGA.

Yes, I edited segatools.ini file.

 

I inserted directory path of amfs, option, appdata in [vfs] and also inserted my IP address in [dns].
IP address is from IPv4 address and same address in aqua server tool.

 

I didn't change other settings in segatools.ini except mentioned above.

Is there anything more that should be modified in segatools.ini file?

2. Create appdata, option, ICF folder in ROOT path

5. Launch aqua server(or miniME) and Run 'start.bat' to start the game

Please change [keychip].
Most of them simply change the end of the IP address entered in [DNS] to 0.


Example)

[dns]

default=192.168.100.5
[keychip]

subnet=192.168.100.0

I was able to enter the game finally!

 

As you mentioned above, only MiniMe works with virtual Aime card reading.

However, reading Aime card has some trouble shown like below.

 

Is there any solution to this?

Unfortunately, there is no solution for now.
In guest mode without an Aime card, you can only play stages 1-4.

I manage to run the game (at least to open up and ask for an Aime card), but I don't have the menu with the cards like you have.
Could you tell me what is that window at the bottom of your screen with the Murakumo card? Is it a separate program? How do I get it to show up?

It is a program called DeckReaderUI.exe inside tnogig.zip.


Enter the storage location of the printed card in "Cards Path" and reload.
ex.)C:\Users\a\Desktop\kanAC\game\DEVICE\printer
A list of Kanmusu that has been printed so far will be displayed.


When you get a new Kanmusu, please reload again.

To load a card into the game, use the "↓" button in DeckReaderUI.exe to add the card to the space at the bottom, then press the "艦娘カード読み込み" button in the game.

My bad, it's not version dependent..

to use it add -k RTXfix.dll to the startup command..
inject.exe -d -k Kcahook.dll -k RTXfix.dll kc.exe

I am so grateful for your support.

I was able to get this working on my rtx4070.

Ideally, I'd like to have Aime card emulation for saving game and playing extra stages...

Sadly there is no public server or local server with Aime support.
Just adding in Aime support wont allow you to play the entire game, there is a lot of title server stuff that runs server side that it needs for many features to work correctly.
Example..
Title server requires
- Coding for loading cards properly
- Coding for normal ship gacha
- Coding for large ship gacha
- Coding for weapon remodeling
- Coding for missions/quests
- Coding to unlock and allow Event play
- Coding for the Shop and Room customize features
- Plus more....

The server code might be made public one day, but most likely it won't be public until the game is out of service.
Unfortunately people will have to settle for guest mode play until then.
