This is amazing, much love to CAVEDWELLER.

 

And thanks to Byekitty for the patch, problem is xdelta keeps gives me magic number errors and won't apply it, is anyone is willing to upload their patched version someplace?

I was thrown off guard by the pinball bezel :P

I am working on integrating all of your bezels into a single MAME bezel pack at the mo.

Don't try patching the rom from zippyshare, use the mega one and you will be able to patch the files without any problem. That's what worked for me.

In case anyone wants, I got the latest mame and changed some settings, made a savestate for the game to open right at the title screen and used the bezels provided by Hyperscorpio, used prescale to get sharp pixels.
You might want to change the slider options > cpu overclock and blitter delay for accurate slowdowns, just need to figure out the settings.

You can also change between bezels, I used all images from the hyperscorpio psd.

I made a launch.bat, just run that.

If I remember correctly, it was not ported, just extracted (the rom was in the game).

Ok, but we need to try to add a new charather and add those xbox 360 textures. :what:

We need someone with experience. 

Voice, Textures and etc...

The game only selects her. One rom hack just for her. 

I know is not easy, but at least we need to try.

I think a project like that should be done once we have the real rom. I don't think we should keep hacking on top of this Knuckles hack--at least, not beyond restoring it before the real rom is released.

But this is a compiled MAME bezel pack of Hyperscorpios bezels that you can just change between them in the video options.

Even if Aya is not ingame, you can add it as bezel, every file was ripped off on xbox360 iso. :very-good:

This is popping a lot of virus warnings, but so far as I can tell, it's either the batch file causing it, which is benign and not a virus at all, or that you left the patching tools in the rom zip. Either way, thank you!

 Hi, what is the blue version of Guwange excactly? Is it the dual stick 360 arrange version? In Mame I only see the normal version and special version, whatever that is. Greets

I Believe, that Dodonpachi Dai Ou Jou Black Label Extra is the same as Dodonpachi III, but with different textures in the menu, music only? A nother hack maybe happen.

We have DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou [Black Label] (c) 2002 Cave Company, Limited on MAME, and it looks exactly the same.

Been testing the game a lot this past week, and i recommend these settings for the best accuracy (not 100% perfect, it can't be done, but very close).

 

Expert all ships: CPU 40.0 mhz / Blitter 58%

Shot/Laser all ships: CPU 41.5 mhz / 56%

 

Every boss and major slowdown moment is pcb accurate. There are a few moments where the slowdown gets a bit spastic, though depending on the way one handles a certain wave of enemies, this is also true on pcb in many hectic moments.

 

Unlike past DDP cv1000 games, the Blue ship doesn't slow down the game more (actually the game is a bit faster than with Red and Green), so there is no need for fine tuning between ships, just between modes.

Thanks, I got the 1cc, but I think my setup was wrong with CPU 100% and Blitter 68%

Congrats man!

 

However, way way too much slowdown for Shot. Try my numbers. I've been quite diligently  cross testing them with pcb runs and they're pretty close.
