The latest in the Bishi Bashi series from Konami

 

Usage:

This release will require the latest 64-bit SpiceTools (02/04/2020 at the time of writing) in order to play, simply drag and drop both spice64.exe and spice.cfg into the contents folder (NOT MODULES!), add your desired parameters such as -ea to remove a network error if not connected to a network, and enjoy the game!

To change regions, simply change the region to the desired one in ea3-config.xml, run the game and it should exit. Then, copy everything (do not cut) in prop/defaults to dev/nvram and run the game againit should start with the new region accordingly!

can someone make a little tutorial to get it working ?

 

there are no .exe except for spice tools but i press spice64.exe and gives me an error and closes :(

Yes! I just love the Bishi Bashi games!

Works perfect with my pop'n music controller too!

I tried to change region in the file

 

    <dest __type="str">J</dest>

 

to U, I and E after I copied the new files from prop/defaults to dev/nvram but it doen't work and crashes upon start.

The language can be changed to English in the service menu though, maybe that willbe enough but would be neat if the reginon could be changed too of course! :D

rather strange but I get stuck after 1 play on the RESULT screen... howdo I bypass this? :(:

 I don't know maybe post ur settings I was able to complete stage 1 and then it goes to stage 2

also thanks again works great I was testing on intel it only seems to display full screen there with my pc but does work perfectly on my cabinet lol

Info to all : this one seems to be win 10 only since it gives a binding error on win 7.

Yes, noticed this too. SHame that I have win7 on my cab! Tested it out fine on the laptop running win10 :'(

I wasn't able to run this on my Win10 laptop. At first it gives me an error about some audio related stuff, but even after disabling the audio hook it still doesn't want to load with the error message "F:avs-ea3: entry init failed"

 

Does anyone happen to encounter this problem?

I didn't try to put controls in yet, but on my internet machine WIN 7 (Old core 2) it ran in full screen, audio was choppy, but that could be my audio settings on this emachine! Thanks for this! I will test this on my cab later and report back for Win 7!

If i try to record this game with shadowplay i get no audio at all,someone knows why?Every other games works.

I hear the audio when i normaly play and everything is fine,but i notice in audio mixer spice64 also do not produce sounds,maybe that's why,but it's strange i can clearly ear it.

The game uses wasapi (direct audio). To record it you'll need to use an external capture card

You cannot set the region to U, I, or E. You can only set the region to J (Japan, default) or A (Asia excluding Japan, Mainland China and Korea). Also, you've got to change the title of the .dest file in dev/raw. You also have to change BOTH ea3.config files (there's one in dev/nvram, and one in prop).

Game is work. But I have a problem whenever I play the game while my discord is online, my friends voice from my discord doesn't come. And I need to disconnect and join back to the discord server to hear their voice again. Any idea how to fix this?

That is the same problem as with SVDX 

It has something to do with Shared mode WASAPI audio

I have no patch for Bishi Bashi Channel

Probably a .dll needs to be patched ?

Are there many minigames in this which requires the spinner button?  Because I am thinking whether this game can be enjoyed with just a pop'n music controller.

Use mouse for spinner. Press F4 to configure the game and go to the "analog" section. Set the analog as mouse X axis, and set a low value (but not too low).

Nope, not really. But you can try Locale Emulator if it doesn't work on your PC

I got it up and running but no audio at all. log showed this line in yellow

W:audio::wasapi: IAudioClient::Initialize failed, hr=0x88890008

 

anyone experiencing this issue?

nvm I found out the problem. My USB speakers won't work with spicetools.
