  1. You can do it easily with a script. Store each configurations in differents directories. Then check what game you want to launch and overwrite the actual settings with the good one. I use Rocketlauncher so I changed the module with those lines for example: ;Copy the correct game setting for the rom choosed stored under Sys/GameSettings folder. This is used for rom maping when different game revision use the same game.ini CustomGameSettings := new File(emuPath . "\Sys\GameSettings\" . romname) If (CustomGameSettings.Exist() ) FileCopy,%emupath%\Sys\GameSettings\%romName%\*.ini,%emupath%\Sys\GameSettings,1 CustomNVRam := new File(emuPath . "\User\Triforce\" . romname) If (CustomNVRam.Exist() ) FileCopy,%emupath%\User\Triforce\%romName%\*.bin,%emupath%\User\Triforce,1 You can easily creat bat files too if you want. If you have no skills in programming, ask OpenIA
  3. Hi Friends, here is the modified module for rocketlauncher. It was a syntax error. Ares need to have the system name first, then the rom name. In the script, it was in the wrong order. I use two differents systems (Sega Mega LD and NEC Pioneer LaserActive) so I don't need to modify the roms names. But if you want all the games in one system, you'll have to modify the roms names: add (SEGA PAC) or (NEC PAC). This module work with Sega CD 32X too (just a few games) Ares.zip Sega Mega LD.xml NEC Pioneer LaserActive.xml
  4. Voici un module Rocketlauncher pour Ares pour ceux qui veulent ajouter ce système à Hyperspin. C'est l'IA qui l'a fait. Pareil pour la database Hyperspin Ares.ahk Sega Mega LD.xml
  5. Hi, I asked to openIA to make a rocketlauncher module for Ares. The problem I have actually is for Mega CD 32X. When I use the argument --system MegaCD32X it launch that system but there is an autodetection that detect just a sega CD. Then I have a message that tell me that I need the 32x extention. I'll try my module with sega mega LD. If it's ok i'll post it here. But you can easily ask to openIA. The first time, the module was not closing ares correctly. I tell it to openAI and the second time it was OK. He learn very quickly
  6. Thanks, but I had the same version already (18171-dirty). I tried it from scratch with your file but have the same motor issue. I have to wait a long time to play. With the patch, it skip the motor initializing and I can play immediately
  7. Hi, thanks for your help. I'm using 5.0-18171-dirty. I dont' know if this is the 15_03_2023 build, but all the links are broken, I'm afraid Big N strikes back. With my version it need patches. Without the patches I have the motor message. I use the C, D and E versions from "archive" source. For Rocketlauncher, I just modified the module to copy the .ini file and the backup.bin before launching the games. All is perfect and I can choose between the different revisions.
  8. Thanks. I was using wrong Gecko codes. There is different codes for different revisions... I just don't have the code for revision C. But under Rocketlauncher, I can't use rom mapping to launch those games. It need a copy of dolphin with the correct ini for each games. So if I want to be able to launch all those revision under Hyperspin, I have to add each game in the wheels... ;F-Zero AX [Core] FPRF = True CPUThread = True [OnFrame] $Disable Motor Setup (Rev. D) 0x8024E034:dword:0x80180D5C 0x8024E038:dword:0x80180BC0 $Disable Motor Setup (Rev. E) 0x8024E4B4:dword:0x801812E8 0x8024E4B8:dword:0x8018114C [OnFrame_Enabled] $Disable Motor Setup (Rev. E)
  9. Thanks for your help. But I already have entered Gecko codes. For all the others games it's ok, but not for f-zero AX (all versions) Here is my SBGG.ini ;F-Zero AX [Core] FPRF = True CPUThread = True [OnFrame_Enabled] $Disable Motor Setup [OnFrame] $Disable Motor Setup 0x8023A0F4:dword:0x8016B4EC 0x8023A0F8:dword:0x8016B350 MK arcade GP 2(JAP) it's now ok. I just disabled the cam in the test menu mode
  10. Thank you for this incredible work. I've been putting emulation of the Triforce aside lately. I updated my Hyperspin set, I use rom mapping under rocketlauncher. Everything works well. I just have a problem with F-zero AX and mario kart gp2 Jap. For F-zero, everything works well for the monster ride. But for the others, I always get the "motor initializing" message. And for Mario kart GP2 Jap, he looks for the camera then there is an error message in Japanese... Does anyone have a clue? If you are struggling with Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher I can help.
