I think I'm giving up on trying to get v7 and v8 to run. They both get by the boot screen but then crash. The config.bat files on both are temperamental at best. They way my mini pc is set up at the moment I can't just have one network adapter running since the keyboard and mouse are Bluetooth and don't want to start messing about with the adapters anyway. My downloads for v5 and V6 don't have the bin folders so they are a no go either. Guess I'll be sticking to gitadora exchain for now.

on the bemanitools github go to bemanitools-supplement its only one file though. Im still not getting gfdm v8 running. It stops opening the config bat and when i do get it opened it wont save any bindings and when i try the bemanitools way i get a sound patch error. Im gussing the dumps im using are not fully working.

I'm having the same issues. I'm running AMD graphics though and win 11 64bit so unsure if this is also causing issues. I also can't get the controls mapped. If it's the same one I found on internet archive you need to run config.bat not the config.exe but I can't get the controls mapped. Mines boots up by the initial check but crashes straight after. I'm going to try v8 in the next day or so and see if I get any more luck with that. I also have V6 but it doesn't have a bin folder. Bemanitools5 supports the v series as well I think but I really don't know how to use it to launch the games. If you go to the bemanitools GitHub you can get it and also the extra files needed for guitar freaks/drum mania.

Don't know if I did anything wrong but the way the card generation is described didn't work. I created it but the game never detected it. I had to bring up the card tool in spicetools with f7 and generate the card that way. May want to update the tutorial. This was with gitadora exchain. Other than that great tutorial and I'm just waiting for the crkd guitar to arrive. Using a Wii guitar for the time being 😃

I'm getting the same issue and im running a ryzen 5600h in my mini pc. Most other games work ok but this just doesn't seem to want to work. I would also be interested if anyone has any other ideas. I did read else where someone had to revert back to older raddeon driver version 26.2.1 but that isn't an option for me as im running various emulators on the system.
