  1. For those complaining about the controls, I finally found a solution.

Using x360ce 4 (I was not aware this version existed!), everything works:

    - Install x360ce

    - map the wheel controls, tune the sensitivity, enable and test FFB to your liking (still in X360ce),

    - minimize the app (there is no more generation of a DLL) ; do not close it

    - Launch FFBPluginUI, choose DFGT (and not the Xinput Gamepad)

    - Launch technoparrot UI and map the buttons to the Xinput gamepad

    - Launch Daytona and enjoy!

    Tested with: x360ce 4.12.8, FFBPlugin 2.1 and Teknoparrot 1.0.0.400

For my Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel, I used in x360ce:

    - Anti dead zone:0

    - Dead zone:0

    - Sensitivity:50%

    - Force Feedback : Enabled, Periodic Sine, 100%.

    - Left motor:100%, 190ms

    - Right motor:100%, 50ms

    In FFBPlugin, strength: 70%

    In Teknoparrot, Stooz zone disabled

Game settings: xinput enabled (DFGT is a directinput wheel but x360ce emulates an xinput one).

This has completely changed for me the game experience. You should try this!

  2. I do not know if I am the only one but I have really a hard time driving with my DFGT wheel using TP. Direction is too direct and so it is difficult to precisely place the car. It is really unpleasant, especially when you compare with the control you have with supermoldel on Daytona 2.

So I made another attempt with a standalone set-up as proposed by JoNB3x (no use of TP).

Initially, controls were bad as well. I used then x360ce and was able to tune the sensitivity of the controls to my liking. Now it is really really better.

I do not have FFB so far, and the game does not behave as on TP: you cannot choose the race you will do, which is a bit weird.

So I do not know which is the best route: try to use TP with x360ce  (I have not been sucessfull so far) or try to get FFB and solve the other issue with the standalone set-up.

    Any advice or feedback?

  3. Thanks for your suggestion. However I think StoOz Zone is a dead zone, which will not solve my issue. I have a TP122 and the latest one. The actions of my wheel are not taken into account in the same way (larger moves for the same rotation for latest TP). So the car slides as soon as I turn my wheel while for TP122, the car 1st turns. As a consequence driving is far more difficult and less pleasant with latest TP than for TP122.

  4. It is because the expected files are defined in the /Config/Games.xml and some changes have been made during the evolution of supermodel. For example, it has been rather recently discovered that force feedback can be supported in Lemans24 by using some files coming from other roms. This option is explained in Games.xml. Depending on whether or not you want to use this trick, you can comment/uncomment some lines of Games.xml. I suggest you to follow Tomeks'advice, it will fix  your roms.
