  4. As this is a PSX2 hardware game, I think we will have to wait approx 10 years more to get these games running correctly in MAME 😄
  5. Glad you like it I don't think it will really look the same as a real screen when compared side by syde. The goal is more to get something easily, quick, clean, powerful and nice to create the best possible "illusion" with the frame, the curvature, the scanline and the textured dot display. I don't think it really looks the same as a CRT screen but I think the "illusion" is now really "nice" : when it runs on my cab, it really looks like there is a CRT screen inside (at least when we are a few meters away) Just like this for example: I'm waiting for your side by side comparaisons, for sure it will be interesting 😃

Changelog : - many things rewritten from scratch, many small issues fixed (2.0) - even more performance improvements (2.0) - the overall display result should be improved (2.0) - the previous annoying moire effect issue should be now fully fixed (2.0) - the mask texture 1x1 is now used by default (2.0) - many default settings updated and improved (2.0) Nota : The 2.0 version needs previous ArcCabView's setting chains to be removed from the folder "bgfx/chains" (to be more clean, they are now put in the "bgfx/chains/ArcCabView" folder) The chain setting "ArcCabView_Dot" has been removed (this is now the "ArcCabView" chain default) The old default chain setting is now called "ArcCabView_Mask2" ArcCabView Generic 2.5 (ReShade) available ! (Shader improvements, moire effect should be reduced) I tried with VLC and WMP and no: they don't load reshade...

  9. ca doit etre possible mais comme FB émule des tonnes de systemes ayant tous des résolutions différentes c'est pas une tres bonne idée d'utiliser la solution "reshade" pour un effet CRT... (Sauf si tu ne fais tourner que des jeux ayant la même résolution natives)
  10. The issue is on your side. You should have something not set correctly (your artworks path?). Try with a clean mame install

If you put a bezel.png file in "UserTextures\MyGameName\" the launcher should set reshade to use it and you have nothing to edit nor change after that: you don't have to set nor edit anything Sorry I didn't test it but it should work using Openbor in Opengl check the others Openbor games, the setting should be very similar

  16. @Safur The generic manual version is still "included" : You just have to move ReShade.ini and ReShade's dlls renamed to the root folder and it should work as before without the launcher
  17. just edit the bgfx\chains\ArcCabViewXXX.json files with a bigger default value for "Phosphor decay power" you can try to find the correct value you want using the sliders ingame and when done edit all the chains with the value you like
  18. Did anyone managed to get Radiant Silvergun working? I didn't test for a long time but last time I tried I didn't get anything else than a black screen ingame 😞

  20. removing CRT-Geom MOD Deluxe was not a good idear... most probably it should be still defined in many game's ini and now it fails. try to remove all your ini files and put the ones included in the package.

Hi, Nice to meet you About CRTGeomMOD and ArcCabView they are open as you know, about the MAME BGFX chain I wanted to put the code in MAME but the devs I spoke with were not interrested at all... 😞 I'm pleased you contacted me and I would be even more pleased if you can/want to put it (or some parts) in MAME I will send you a message soon Edit: Sources and MP sent! you can try to change the few settings in "CRT Advanced" many things can be set and I'm sure you can get something as you want
  22. Just disable the effect in the chain if it's not good for you Here something that was not possible with MAME until now : And also Will be most probably put in the next MAME BGFX chain update 😎
