I tested this unofficial 2019 Demul version and it's not so good:

- I didn't find anything better nor fixed compared to last official 2018/04/28

- The romset is nearly the same

- Some DC games don't work anymore (the game fails to start), at least these ones :

DUX, DUX 1.5, Last Hope Pink Bullets, Neo XYX,  Redux Dark Matters, Sturmwind

 

So for now I will still use 280418 build available here : http://demul.emulation64.com/files/demul07_280418.7z

 

 

PS : I also discovered that some games were recently successfully patched to work on VGA output

Il y a moyen de configurer BizHawk pour simuler le MegaCD? J'aimerais bien tester le CPU-Coop 😁

 

Faudrait aussi pouvoir configurer le mutitap pour pouvoir jouer à 3 et j'ai pas trouvé non-plus comment mettre la console en jap...

C'est donc pas encore tout à fait complet mais c'est cool de pouvoir tester

I think the issue is on the the anti-virus side...

Some of them detect nearly all ahk exe as a malware...

So far nobody reported any real problem using it for years, so for me it's safe

 

There is no config made to work with TP.

Sometime it may work... but as TP change the original display of many games, very often it won't work as expected.

There is also a new ResY_Factor option.

For example with ResY_Factor set at 0 it will divide by 2 the Y resolution of the CRT effect and you can get something like that :

(set at 2 the Y resolution will be doubled)

 

PS : All "special setting" chains can be removed as latest MAME builds save now the shader settings.
