  1. Yes. As far as I can tell, the hex edit is still needed if you don't card in... unless you find a way to make that table work for a guest.
  2. If at all possible, try to make it comp_time 1 for the first time used, and then flip to comp_time 2 after the first play to make it more authentic, so it'll show the popups the first time and then never again.
  3. Yes, this table for every card that is registered. The comp_time being 2 won't give the popup for the song, and comp_time being 1 will display the song popup on September gamemdx.dll.
  4. Meanwhile I'm going to just unlock everything, especially since A20 Plus has them all unlocked (white colored) out of the gate... (Video timestamped to 27:36)
  5. For the 9 songs that @One Eternal Ash struggled with, add these to your ddr_16_event_save_data, and change the user id at the end to match yours. Do not put these in ddr_16_global_events. @topet2k12001 is there a way to have butterfly generate these on the fly for each user? For the 1-50 events, all of them are at 9999, and flip 47 to 0 to turn off grand finale if you're using the September gamemdx.dll. (If using August this isn't needed)
  6. Yes, use an AMD video card.
  7. Are you sure it works? I'm getting the save error again with this one.
  8. I read that but I see your sql has a lot of changes.
  9. Even better, what did you change?
  10. If it makes you feel any better @One Eternal Ash, if you force unlock the nine songs from いちかのBEMANI投票選抜戦2019, and use the September gamemdx.dll with the Butterfly patch, you'll have the event folder at least.
  11. https://github.com/skogaby/butterfly/blob/1.1.0/butterflyserver/src/main/resources/static_responses/mdx/events.xml I feel like one of these higher numbered events may be the key to this, since like I said, butterfly 1.1.0 saves just fine.
  12. Yes... Put your game into English. It'll say Data may not have saved when you finish a round... the scores stick tho.
  13. The charts you think you're missing are probably just locked by @topet2k12001 in the startup.arc again.
  14. This is the option I'm referring to btw. Holy shit these image pastes suck.
  15. Shows identical in HxD but let me just try to start fresh with your sql file again.
  16. Turn off free first play in coin options.
  17. Sure. If you're able to do this and it helps the jitter and stutter, then I might be in the mood to dust off some of the omnimix packs and release a few of them.
  18. Oh I already run it minimized, without even looking at your script I use start /min but I was hopping the logging would take a little of the jitter off of it. The official board runs on a Celeron M 440, with 1GB DDR2 RAM. Upping the RAM to 4GB didn't help the stuttering, which happens maybe once per song, but I have a Core Duo T2700 (highest that I can get for the socket) that I hope to install in it one day to help with it... I was hopping by disabling the logging that it would take some of the strain off of the CPU.
  19. No, you misunderstood when I mentioned Windows Server 2012 -- that's the x86 requirement for Java 14. I run Windows XP Embedded, on a Konami drive, with the necessary scripts to boot the game, and the server in the background, which I sourced from a legitimate copy of DDR Ace build from around 2017, to be as authentic as possible. I run the cabinet with the original Konami IO, no minimaid or ghetto shit in my cab.
  20. (Glad it's not just me, and it doesn't save with August either. )
  21. The game will bitch at you if it doesn't work. In a cab environment I launch it and then set a timer for 15 seconds to make sure it loads before loading the game.
  22. @topet2k12001 Everything looks beautiful, but can I ask for a personal favor? Is it possible to recompile a version of butterfly that is not displaying every single line in the dialog box? Basically one that is quiet.
  23. @One Eternal Ash Using September gamemdx.dll, your new database fails to save again on my end.
  24. I was just going to check that, thank you for doing that for me, lol. In the past I couldn't get the September arkmdxp3.dll to play nicely with the August gamemdx.dll but this was months ago...
  25. You probably don't need a modified version of arkmdxp4.dll because most launchers are ever emulating the P3IO and never the P4IO... I just hope they aren't too modified to work on the original IO. I'll have to cab test soon. @One Eternal Ash mind linking to those ark files just so I don't have to dig around for the link?
