yea only virtual machine. it seems also someone did say something about wanted to be portable for any os, and he said this in one of the comments "Since it heavily relies on sql, it is VERY complicated to set it up. The reason I insist on using a vm version, is because it's guaranteed to work, and has already been configured."

konigsseg - has released an frontend for nfs underground arcade. it's not the final release (he's still working on it) but it's stable. download is in the description btw i suggest asking him any questions if you have any problems
