    Hello, it's not a regression, it's actually fonction of true Arcade Cabinet. If NAMCAM is broken --> test menu ! 😉

    So, I would use my card reader for Mario Kart. My card contain "tricard_SBKP.bin" file hex.

    - When my card is read, file "User\Triforce\tricard_SBKP.bin" is generated.

    In insert card screen, generated file "insert really" the card in game.

     

    - When remove card procedure, file "tricard_SBKP.bin" contain is stored in my true card and "User\Triforce\tricard_SBKP.bin" is delete.

    But when I dicontinous to play, the game is save and loop at this screen. Any idea ?

    You can reproduct this issue with rename tricard file.

     

    Finally, I would change users cards for family without reset game.

     

    For test, I make this manager tool (big because framework is included).

    Before, rename "User\Triforce\tricard_SBKP.bin" to "Triforce_card_1" (without extension)

    Copy tool file in Dolphin root folder

    Launch tool

    Launch Dolphin and MKAPG

     

    With tool, select card number and click on "Insert"

     

    - If you have no card, no problem. Tools wait generated tricard before stocking your profile.

    - If "Triforce_card_x" exist, game detect file and load this

     

    When your stop to play, wait "saving game data loop" and click on "remove" card.

     

    If issue closed, you can switch and play with 5 cards (profile)

    So, Namcam don't block game.

     

    Pour ceux qui ne comprennent pas, voici comment faire fonctionner "from scratch" la version JPN de GP2 sans lag et sans testmode :

    Quand tout marchera, ce sera déjà plus simple.

    De plus, il ne faut pas le voir comme un émulateur clé en main. Il te faut autant de répertoire que de jeu (1 rep par Borne)

    as for mario kart games at first i didn't see any problems at all .. but when i disabled the test menu patch i noticed slowdowns in mario kart 2 after a couple of mins in attract mode ...didn't notice any slowdowns in the first game ..

    but if i enabled the test menu patch the game runs fine  ...

    and of course you can always use the older version for the mario games ....and even f-zero .. they run perfectly fine on it ..and use the latest version for vs3 and vf4/2006 because the controls r fixed for these games.

    It's not Shaders caching. With TestMode (original wait 60sec), MK1 is'nt 100%.

    With patch for no 60sec wait, it's run at 100%

     

    With the new version, checking testmode = Game Lag. FPS are at 76%... No with 2023/01/24 version. This new version save TestMode Data, it's probably this

    i'm not really sure what is causing this problem .. but the card is created and it keeps working fine as long as the game is not restarted .. and i tried to save state and it didn't work ..the game froze .

    To bad. To be sure game write in file and read in ram, go to your folder and delete your card after game over (during attract mode). insert coin, and your card is read ... without file 🙃

     

    No solution for this

    it could be a bug but it could be how the machine works ... it just keeps working as long as the machine is on .. and maybe that is why there is a memory card option to save any progress and can be used  later ..and even used with the home version.

     

    Ok, I test and... It's bug.

    When user removed card, the reader "read" Ram. So cruel for anothers users. it's not how the machine works.

     

    It's issue.

    By analyzing, I understand that the "tricard_SBGG.bin" file is not read. Only the contents of RAM.

    When you restart a game without quit app after zero credits, the RAM is read again. Restarting Dolphin clears the RAM. "tricard_SBGG.bin" is ignored.

     

    BUG?

     

    Only save state to bypass problem...

    Yes, for standard controller keys :

     

    karting game

    Z = test mode + coin (it's an error ?)

    X = service

    Analog left stick : left - right - up - down

    A = item

    B = cancel button

    R = Gas

    L = Brake

    Créer un dossier Dolphin MKAGP1 uniquement pour ce jeu

     

    Salut @Ducon2016, Merci pour la version 309 Patchée de MKAGP1. Cependant, il manque le fameux bouton "B / Cancel" qui permet de descendre et monter lors des options. Peux-tu l'activer STP ?
