No details on which files are needed, no explanation on how to configure it nothing. It’s unbelievable. I believe I have an older version. How do you update this? Where is the update? So many questions and even with the error with the plug-in, not working it still boots into the game but only has four songs?

I have no idea what you’re talking about. Every single time I try this, it tells me there’s no plugin installed. Then you keep adding extra stuff. What exactly do you mean when you say “put the address into the spicecfg”? Put what, and where? On top of that, you don’t explain how the folder structure is supposed to be—there are no instructions at all. I have the correct version (3.0.3F), so should all these files be located in DDR World? What a complete waste of a day. I’m supposed to read through 79 pages just to figure this out? This has to be one of the stupidest posts I’ve ever come across on this forum.

Thanks. Where can I download Asphyxia and the DDR plugin? I think I’m missing something. I set the game to free play and mapped all the controls in SpiceTools. I also generated a card, but the game still won’t let me pass the start screen. EDIt: I’m just missing the plug-in drill files where can I find this?

Where can I find proper instructions for this? My game launches, but it just sits on a screen that says “Insert Coin” (in Chinese). I’ve already mapped all the buttons and generated a card in Asphyxia, but nothing works. I can’t insert coins, I can’t start the game I’m completely stuck. How do you actually get past this and start playing?

You’re taking what I said out of context I never said I hated TeknoParrot. What I did say is that what happened on the stream was complete bullshit. Reaver knew exactly what he was doing. If it were really a mistake, he would’ve just unlocked The Walking Dead and moved on. Not substituted it with things that were already free… Honestly, when a new game drops, I’ll give it a try, but the truth is I barely use TeknoParrot. Paying for a subscription makes zero sense when I’m lucky to play three games a year. Just like this conversation it’s not worth my time, so I’ll leave it at that.

Also, for the record, I don’t ask the devs for anything I don’t beg for games or ask where to get them. Yes, if it says “subscription” but still works for free, they’ll patch it in an update just like they did with After Dark. So, you’ll either need a previous version of TeknoParrot to keep it free or roll back to the version it originally worked on.

Well, when you update your teknoparrot does it remain free? It’s easy to find out.

Try running an older version of TeknoParrot Reaver’s made changes to the code that have broken half the games. On the latest versions, some of my games don’t load at all, and others take so long to start you’d think they’ve crashed. No idea what he’s doing, but it’s definitely not helping. it started when he removed the free online features. Now it feels like every game is checking for a subscription, and that’s what’s causing them to break or delay at launch.

They’re not focused on game preservation anymore; it’s all about how much money they can make and how many games they can shove in, whether they work or not. Just look at that Play emulator it’s a total mess and barely runs anything properly. Do they care? Not at all. Every time someone brings it up on a stream, the response is always the same: “Nope, we’re not doing anything with it.” Why? Because it’s free and offers them no financial incentive. Honestly, I don’t even know what people are paying for anymore. Whatever “service” they’re claiming to provide, it’s sure not worth it.
