does anyone have a dump of the arcade version of Tux Racer? Used to be on virusman's site along with a whole bunch of ice games that were up on a dropbox but were taken down. thank you!

if anyone has a reup of the dropbox that would also be appreciated

Found this link floating around from last year. Files are already extracted from Linux HDD image.

that's not required if its actually inside

The game’s music and sounds is in the AVI files, but the problem now is that I can’t properly rip it without getting static in Audacity.

And then this afternoon, I discovered that there are multiple audio streams in some of the AVI files when I used Ravioli Game Tools to scan them, which is probably why I can’t open them in VLC Media Player.

I really don’t understand why Konami and Gamewax decided to do this instead of just putting them all in a simple WAV format. It’s all just confusing and frustrating for me.

  3. I've been thinking about ripping music and sounds from different MAME roms, such as Mazan: Flash of the Blade and Ninja Assault, etc. The problem is, I'm not sure how to do it. I know there is a tool that rips music from certain MAME roms, but it doesn't work for all of them. I wonder if someone can help me figure this out. Thanks.

One way to combine files in windows can be done in a command prompt

    copy /b file1 + file2 + file3 destinationfile

I'm sure there a tons of freeware programs otherwise.

copy may not be the fastest way, but it does work.

Well, I tried this in a command prompt, and I'm getting an error saying, "The system cannot find the file specified." Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

For extract the full content of Wheel of Fortune you need to concatenate first the files WOFL_v01.20_Prod_Data1 and WOFL_v01.20_Prod_Data2 (on windows you can do it with copy /b WOFL_v01.20_Prod_Data1 + WOFL_v01.20_Prod_Data2 WOF) after that you can extract the new WOF file with 7z and the extracted new file with 7z again)

I've all the files now (almost 11GB), but when launching with TP (I'm Patreon) I got an error and the game doesn't load....

How did you concatenate the files? What program did you use in Windows? I am new to this, and I want to find out how to do this. I got the iso files for Big Buck Hunter Reloaded, and I would like to access the full content for the game.

I've managed to extract the game files from this. The game is still encrypted and requires a dongle dump but here are the game files and executable ripped from the ISO:

Use Base64Decode.org to decrypt this link.

    Please reup this!

This is only one chunk out of all the game files contained. You would have to install all the restore discs and then find a way to extract the rest of the game files. Just thought I would let you know. Good stuff though!

Why would you run it windowed ?

What do you use for input ?

Did you do a calibration in the game test menu ?

    1. That’s the only way I’m able to launch the game is to run it in windowed. I have the game placed in the C drive.

    2. I’m using my keyboard and mouse for input.

    3. I tried to do a calibration in the test menu, but the crosshair will still not move.

ok, I can try to decode this audio *.adp format, how did you extract Audio.npk ?

I used quickbms and ran a script.

Open the audio file with a hex editor and find the first 4 bytes (should say nxpk). The quickbms website should show you the script when you search it up. Download the script that says “Time Crisis Razing Storm” because that’s the script that all of Namco’s PS3 arcade games use. Then, just create a folder where you want to save the extracted files.

    Hope this helps.

  9. I have a problem that I've been trying to fix for about 2 hours now. I was able to extract the audio folder in Dark Escape so I can get the soundtrack. The sound format is .adp. I can play it in Foobar2000, but when I play the track, there is this crackling / popping noise, and I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of it. If anyone could help me figure this out, it would be great. Thanks.
