I've only seen pics and video, never in person. It looks like it's fun to play and would be cool to be able to play it in emulation. But from what I understand, it would be complicated to emulate due to the game controls. It uses a gun, a steering wheel and it uses Police lights for certain parts of the game.

Yeah the only way to reduce the sound stutter is to enable cheats in Mame, press tab while in-game, go to slider controls and bring the main cpu overclocking from 100% down to 23% which slows the game way down. So it's mute the volume and play the game at normal speed or with smoother sound and painfully slow speed. Either way it's not really playable at this point. As for my cpu, it's old. It's a 7th gen i5 3.0ghz. It's funny how an almost 30 year old game struggles on modern hardware.

The sound is working here, but the op didn't say anything about how to fix the sound.

Hello all. I'm trying to get into the test menu for Cobra The Arcade World game and it loads fine until I get to the card reader error. So I set my keybord to C for select, V for R1 and B for R3 and I've tried pressing and holding R1 and R3 while pressing select as well as holding select, , but it won't go into test mode. I also tried setting V to L1 as mentioned in an old post, but no luck. Here's a screenshot of the Play version I'm using if it makes a difference. What else can I do to get into the test menu? Thanks in advance.
