[Help] Sega Golden Gun

Any idea about this event error when launching Sega Golden Gun(Teknoparrot)?

 

Hi, I've been so many hours now trying to launch this game. 

A fresh installation looks like this for me:

If I use Teknoparrot 1.35 and point to RingGunR_RingWide, the game launches but it just runs for like 5 seconds and then it says that that file has stopped working, like this:

Any idea of anything I could try pls?

 

BTW, I tried with  Game Loader All RH 296 as well and I had the same problem, and with 6 different versions of Teknoparrot (old and new versions), same problem always.

Tell me, what is your PC specs?? and don't forget update directx and other vcredits files (you can find it in teknoparrot post).......This game works for me using teknoparrot 1.33 (I haven't tested in new version) and gameloader all rh 296 with certain settings.

I was trying to update DirectX and vcredits. I have DirectX 12 and I downloaded the vcredits that Teknoparrots recommends in their site. Still facing the same problem. 

 

I had tried with Teknoparrot versions 1.35, 1.34, 1.20, 1.06, 1.05, 1.04, 1.03. I couldn't find 1.33 anywhere to give it a go, although I think it's something else on my machine.

 

My computer is not really a gaming PC, but I've been able to launch a lot of other Arcade and Teknoparrot names (other than the ones requiring Nvidia cards or Linux). It is:

In your case, does it launches the game and then a few seconds after it just crashes with a windows pop-out error as well? 

 

When you mean same error, do you mean 'Faulting module name: ntdll.dll,'?

And is it happening for Sega Golden Gun and Mario Kart DX or just Mario Kart?

Hi all,

MKDX start with "now loading" in bottom right, after a menu in japones (with 4 ligns red), after a black screen while 1 minutes and crash on Win Seven. sometimes only black screen...

With W10 same but at the end D3D errors.

 

With Golden gun, load and at the first screen like you, the loader stop working...

 

SR3 for exemple work perfectly.

MKDX démarre normalement avec "now loading" en bas de la fenêtre a droite, ensuite j'ai l'écran des paramètres en Japonais avec 4 inscriptions en rouge, je ne sais pas si ça a un rapport ? Ensuite écran noir et sur Win 7 plante au bout d'une minute environ, des fois ça reste sur l’écran noir...

Sur W10 idem sauf qu'a la fin j'ai la fenetre D3D errors

Les pilotes graphique et directX sont ok , j'ai entièrement reformaté mon PC juste pour pouvoir jouer à MKDX, je suis désespéré :triste:

 

Pour Golden gun, le jeu démarre bien puis arrivé à l'écran avec les silhouettes, il crash.

Toute aide serait vraiment la bienvenue

Thanks man, it looked promising with so many things to install. But my setup for Sega Golden Gun gets stuck with the same error as before :S

Hello Friends I am having a few issues with sega golden gun and let's go Island. I have the latest release of teknoparrot on win 10 and am using a aimtrak light gun. I am able to play fright fear land /haunted museum and alien extermination fine.  When i try and play golden gun and lets go island through teknoparrot I have a problem where the mouse cursor and crosshair are seperated which which makes the game unplayable? any help would be appreciated !!!

Right, I have the same issue and I had read something related with a incompatibility  between the high resolutions in certainly PC's and the native resolution of these two sega ringedge/ringwide games.....it's because these games works with low resolutions, for this reason if you play in full screen mode adjusting to your pc resolution, the crosshair uncoordinate with the mouse cursor.....the best solution for me was using frame full screen with gameloader all rh, the cursor and the crosshair are separated yet, but I only ignore the cursor and move the crosshair around the screen without any problem.....other way can be changing temporarily the monitor resolution according the game using gameloader all rh.....(native res. Sega golden gun=1360 x 768 - Let's go island=1024x600) I tried to change native resolution of the games, but I had other worse issues related with crosshair :gene:

I made no-crosshair patch for almost all shooting games

hi Argonlefou! congratulations for your excellent demulshooter, I have a question, I have a calibration problem in mame with my 2 wiimote (under touchmote) in all other emulators work perfectly. in practice the crosshair has an offset of 5 / 6cm on the left, compared to where I point the gun, and after the calibration of each game does not change anything ... this only happens with the mame (the wiimote are sets as joystick in the same way sets other emulator). I tried different versions of mame but the result is always the same. Do you have any idea how I could solve it? If is possible to create a small software like the demulshooter for mame, only for calibration?

For Sega Golden Gun use GameLoader RH All, for Let's go island use Let's go island 3D version with Tecnhoparrot

Do you have any path to no-crosshair in Typing of the Dead Overkill?

Holy shit this may sound weird as fuck but on my computer I can play GG just fine but I get the same 3sec load then stop responding error on all ID games.

My error at eventviewer is a lot less telling though:

This game was the easy to setup and run before.

Some days ago I have "Error 6401 JVS I/O board is not connected to mainboard" in Golden Gun.

I've trying to solve, but the problem came again.

I delete GG folder and create another one with news files, change Teknoparrot to older version 1.87 (in other folder) GL All 325 (in other folder) and with portable

delete ...\AppData\Roaming\TeknoParrot\   SBVE_e2prom.bin and SBVE_sram.bin, 

And everey time I try to change GG in Teknoparrot to Freeplay, it alway start with insert credits.

 

Some thing is "glued" that prevents me from changing options.

 

How I clean the GG settings/Setup any hide folder/files?

The link is a AutoHotKey Script, you need install it to run and compile the script to exe if want.

I attach the script compiled, is you need. (All credits to the Author)

To use, run exe file and press key "F1" to turn Off/On the cursor.

If you want assign other key than "F1" just replace F1 by your key on code line "F1::SystemCursor("alternar")  ; Tecla que mostra ou esconde o ponteiro." and compile to exe with AutoHotKey.

Hello, I managed to configure 2 Wiimote in Mame etc, I have the same problem :\



Not to make spam, if anyone knows where I can find this game fix and other fix on full screen + for this game English Voice in Parrot ??

You can get a crosshair launching the game from a frontend like LaunchBox.

I have a crosshair script for that. I'm using it for shooter games without native crosshair like Naomi games.

 

I think GL can load a crosshair too for replacing the mouse one in use.

Don't know how to do it but I read it here on Emuline.
