You can be less rude, I was wondering if you can run 3D acceleration with a modern GPU in a VMWARE Workstation VM. I have seen many videos and posts on it through the years but it appears that it won't work on my setup. I have seen a few users here have GLOBAL VR VMs and I wasn't aware that these users were using old GPUs to run them in a modern computer through VMWARE.

You gotta explain how you got underground to work with 3d acceleration on t hat VMware.... I am puzzled

But there is no driver for my GPU on XP. I have a RTX 4060 and 4090. Unless there is a passthrough driver, I would assume people are using modern components if they are using a VM. VMware SVGA II and others dont seem to give any acceleration. VMWARE gives a 3d Accelerator, but this XP image seems to lack the feature. VMWARE does supply a 3D accelerator if you push it through the app itself but there seems to be something broken. I am hoping someone who has some VMWARE experience with XP and 3D acceleration can assist

Okay so you are just installing it bare metal, well I am talking about the VM that someone uploaded. The VM here doesnt have any form of acceleration

What drivers are you talking about, are you talking about drivers for my main GPU outside of VMWARE or drivers in the VM itself? I have a RTX 4090 and 4060. The visuals have a strange checkerboard and black screen. The sound is distorted aswell. I have been trying to get it to function in VMWARE Workstation 17 and its strange because the 3d acceleration doesnt work despite my message log not throwing any flags about it not working. This game is very important to me so I will do whatever I can to get it to work. Any help as to what I need, and what I can do is highly appreciated. Thanks!
