But the point is to encourage people in Japan to keep going to arcades and keep playing arcade rhythm games so they don't die out. The director KohaD said so himself. That's also why there were so many fan service Variety music transplants in the release of this version.

Doubt it, we need support for 120Hz at the very least, so segatools might have to be updated.
