Everything works great with this Definitive Edition, it's really a beautiful creation! (Sega is probably too busy releasing a Sonic compilation for the 10th time 🤬 )
The only problem I have is that I find the 4 successive logos a bit long at startup (especially since we can't skip them 😑 )
I tried to start the game after deleting the 4 files in the Media folder (Ei.png, Strange.png, Hitmaker.png and sega.png) but the game crashes if they are missing.
Do you know if there is a command (like fast-startup skip-intro novid ) or a trick to avoid this please? 🤔
I played around with Cheat Engine and Ghidra and figured out how to skip the intro sequences before the main title screen:
At location 0x2E16B in the Fairlight/Xplosiv executable, change 04 to 00
