Hi pals, just wondering real quick if anyone else has had a weird problem with Initial D 8 Infinity not saving the test menu settings. Have done the usual stuff(can access the test menu and change the settings I need in TP)but when I exit out and play the actual game itself the settings aren't saved and if I go back to the test menu again they're back at default settings again.

Have also changed the settings manually in the initiald.ini file in the main folder too but no such luck. Pretty much just want to turn the attract music off, change the game from single to linked(if it works via lan that is)and the default view to rear. Other than that it runs perfectly fine with the English patch and game saving. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before or if I have a dodgy or incomplete dump of the game itself. Update: Problem solved!! Changing both the dongle and pcb region to Japan instead of Export fixed the test menu settings not saving issue.😁

Is there an English patch available anywhere? Would be great to have it if fully translated or at least basic. Thank You.

Same here, I've installed loopback successfully on my Windows 10 machine for a 5DX+ 2 player LAN(one of the machines doesn't have an internet connection most of the time but is linked to the other via a crossover cable)and had a play around to try and set it up but no go. Would be neat to tick at least one of the Maximum Tune games off on my linked 2 player set up if possible as it runs just fine with other stuff(even if I can get it going on the non internet connection machine that would be okay as it is also used primarily for Maximum Tune 3). If there's a tutorial on how to set it up with that and the game itself that would be neat!

Could be a bit of an ask, but also is the Asia-Chinese Bootleg/Export version of Maximum Tune 3DX+ available anywhere as well please?(if it exists that is, if not that's all good).The version which is out there is apparently incomplete and has no "main.exe" file.

Update: All good, have got the complete Export version now!!👍

Hey all, haven't played Maximum Tune in a bit and although everyone is probably sick of hearing about this problem now I'm having an issue with getting save games to work with Maximum Tune 6R(got it working fine with MaximumTune 5 in the past). Game runs perfectly fine on my set up and everything works great but only if IC R/W is disabled.

Have gone through and set the game up with IC card R/W on and vendor off as said in previous posts and have a working internet connection and the game is also unblocked with Windows Firewall but still comes up with the e0551 error. Am also unable to access terminal mode for if it is enabled in TP it just crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did some tinkering the other day and got Thrill Drive 3 working on my Daytona cab! Super glad I can now play it at home after playing it on an original machine while I was in Japan years ago. Awesome work pals!😁

Hey all, just wondering if a known working dump for Daytona NSE(New Season Edition)is out anywhere yet as apparently it's now playable.

All good if not though as I can always just keep playing the original Daytona 3 on TP in the meantime.🙂

It does the same thing when I try to run it in TP, looks like it's going to load, then gets to 97/100 and crashes no matter what one of those I choose too.

Would be neat if there's a fix as I've left it alone for now.
