Extra Exclusive Songs are already unlocked on our DDR A20 (Endymion, Orca). To be able to play the Extra Exclusive Stage, you have to do the following: . get a AA rating on Extra Stage Endymion can be found under DDR A Orca can be found under DDR A20

Only the revised Butterfly Server (that comes with a Custom sqlite DB) works properly with the latest version of the DDR A20 (2020020300) dump.

Just try to disable your anti-virus. I have had a big problem with the butterfly server before. Regardless that I have already added the folder, all of the files of DDR A20 including the Custom Butterfly Server, my Anti-Virus still won't allow the Butterfly Server to write entries to its assigned custom sqlite. After I have disabled my Anti-Virus. I was able to run the game with no issues. Even saving my Score progress and Dan Course progress completely.

Try to disable your Anti-Virus. It has been a known issue that Anti-Virus programs blocks some of the important processes to make the new version of DDR A20 run properly. Even if your program / DDR A20 has already been white-listed on your Anti-Virus App.

You're welcome. I'm glad that you are now able to save your progress. Indeed, the Torrent is only up to 2019090300. 2020020300 is a small update patch (300+mb). Merging these 2 will still not allow you to Save your Progress. The Post that I have referred to you is the complete fix for the game to be able to save any progress.

Install the latest version of Java 11. I have had some issues with the custom Butterfly Server when I haven't updated my Java installation to Java 11.

Use the 1st link and the 2nd link as they are already configured. You just need to run it.

Download the custom Butterfly Server, extract all of the contents on your Desktop and run the .bat file directly. No more additional modifications needed. Butterfly v1.1.0 doesn't support MDX-001-2020020300. That's why you need to use the custom Butterfly Server for the Scores and Dan Class unlock to be saved.

HD Mode is only up to 1280 x 720. Even the actual DDR A20 Machine can't go up more than its intended resolution of 1280 x 720. Also, if you still have the .wmv formats of the background videos, you can convert it with a much higher bitrate so that the final video will be less pixelated. But, using a much higher bitrate would mean increasing its intended filesize. By doing so, it will impact the performance of your game and crash unexpectedly.

Your anti-virus is blocking your DDR A20 Local Server. Thus, it can't write to any of the files inside the NVRAM Folder (System Settings Folder). As what I had advised to MisterKister... turn off your anti-virus when running DDR A20 to prevent any complications.

@Avast It's a FREE Antivirus. I wouldn't get my hopes up in totally protecting your PC. @ESET NOD32 Have tried a lot of anti-viruses since the 90s. Even the famous Norton and Kaspersky solutions. All have failed in totally protecting my PC. Norton: it locked me out of my Windows and it won't boot my OS anymore way back in early 2000... That's why I have moved to Symantec Endpoint Protection. Been using it since 2013. No OS re-formats for me anymore.

Adding the game on your anti-virus exclusion list is not an option. I have added butterfly.jar, butterfly.sqlite, and butterfly gamestart.bat on my anti-virus exclusion list. The anti-virus still blocked it and caused me a lot of headaches for more than a week.

The Anti-virus that I'm using since 2013: Symentec Endpoint Protection It had protected my unit from malicious attacks be it from malicious offline file or any online activities. @ Step 7-. Unnecessary. card0.txt only hold your "Card ID". if you're using a new database, then it doesn't matter what card you're using. If you're using an old one, you didn't read sh*t in this post and you deserve to not run it haha. I have tried using a fresh copy of butterfly.sqlite from your archive everytime that I attempted to fix my issue. I still have the Dan Courses unlock issue. It might also be the placement of the buttefly server on the desktop and my anti-virus blocking the butterfly.jar writing capabilities (it broke the database for some reason. Thus I need to restart from a fresh copy of the butterfly.sqlite earlier).

I have just solved my issue regarding saving my personal scores permanently and unlocking the Dan Courses. Butterfly Server write capabilities to butterfly.sqlite were being blocked by my anti-virus. Thus, an error "Database is locked" keeps on showing up on my butterfly server logs. Refer to this guide on how I resolved my week long Dan Courses unlock issue:

It's the Butterfly Server that still doesn't support the latest version of DDR A20 Gold (MDX-001-2019090300 and MDX-001-2020020300).

Dan Courses are still not working on A20 Gold. We are currently stuck on 1st Dan regardless of clearing the Course with AA Full Combo.

One Eternal Ash's version is MDX-001-2019090300 + MDX-001-2020020300 + his modifications to get his copy working on his PC. I have sent you a PM.
