Yeah, I figured as much. I usually play AC data so it's not really a huge deal. I only use Infinitas for a secondary setup or for bringing with me to places where I don't necessarily want to make it super apparent I'm running data. I've been keeping my eye on the discussion in 1CC over the past couple of days though. I'll take a look at the mermaid github. I had forgotten all that stuff got published, lol.

A little confused and not sure if I missed something or what, but when I open up mongodb compass and establish a connection I don't see the laochan-eacnet dropdown. The game itself works fine, profile created, scores save etc. but it would be nice to be able to change note skins and bombs, etc. I'm using the laochan build in your original post. I'm probably in over my head with all the db shit tbh lol I just want thick photon notes and gold bombs and I'm not finding anywhere to change them in game unless I'm just blind.

Not totally useless. The charts can be ported to Pinky. You just have to replace existing charts with the preload charts, rename the files and then edit the info in music_data.bin (extract bin to json with musicdata_tool.py, edit, convert back to bin). You can't play them while connected to a server but you can still play them. You could probably just add completely new entries for them to omnimix tbh I think you just have to make sure there are no conflicting song ID's.

Nah, the music db is real and the song jackets/bga's are real but the song and chart data are fake/reused from older styles. Also you don't need a new dll to make new charts work. The dll you use doesn't matter. Either way ye it was bullshit data posted by some nerd with too much time on their hands lol.

You're going to have to get your Resident updated to Final, which is 2023090500, before you can do that. Are you using WASAPI shared mode? I had better luck with 96000Hz. No sync issues.

I highly doubt that file is real considering all the shitposting and fakes that have been posted since release. Also that password doesn't even work (I just checked). Not likely. I think there's is/was only cabs in one arcade in Japan. I guess if the data got dumped it would probably be in the 1cc discord although since the old one went down/went private/whatever happened I haven't been able to get back in (or find an invite link floating around).

Ok, so- I know this was supposedly fixed awhile back but does anybody else still have their screen occasionally lock up/freeze? You can still hear the menu playing in the background and you can actually still quit the game and save your score if you know what to press. I'm using the latest available Resident patch, latest Asphyxia plugin and latest Spice2x. It doesn't happen all the time but is still kind of annoying. It happened way more often in windowed mode so I switched back to fullscreen and it got a little better, but still happens sometimes. I took a look at my log and it always says this: W:Vsync: Present DEVICEHUNG hr=0x88760874 It seems to be related to Vsync but I'm not sure if there's something else causing it. If I turn off Vsync I have issues with smooth gameplay and song sync. Log file attached. Thanks! log.txt

Why not just run Resident and download Omnimix? You get every song that way and don't have to fumble through multiple games or wait for seeds.
