@stuart2773 I think but I am not entirely sure, that the utils folder will only contain the files needed to install the game onto original machines but the restore disks are on archive 3 of them, these contain that folder on one of the disks if they turn out to be needed.

@Arcadeguy781 how many fps were the original game hardware, were they locked @ 30 fps or 60fps and what gfx card were they tested on plz?

@compnwl The most powerful rigs are not necessarily the fastest with dolphin, it depends a lot on single core performance, where an i5 processor can outperform a Xeon 8362 32c/64t Platinum chip costing £13,000 running @2.8ghz, nobody could consider this a weaker processor than a mid range I5 costing less that £200 yet it would have weaker performance than a 6core i5 at 4,0ghz in Dolphin, leaving aside the architecture to simplify the raw clock speed is the biggest factor, not the processing power.

@buck116 You would probably be better trying to get a hold of flybit that on the 1cc discord bro, it is more Teknoparrot related here or even in the jconfig section of this forum, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be though because it should be pretty generic to the APM3 controls except maybe a mechanical restrictor on the joystick or similar.

I have both the 1.08 game files and iso, the game works fine in attract mode but when you go to start game, the screen goes black and game crashes, is there any files in the iso that need moved over to game dump in order to prevent this from happening or will there have to be a fix, in addition to sound file fixes, have folder structure same as shown in the example post? So near, yet so far.

@arcadeforty I'm kind of lost on this bro, even with the guide, I will get stuck into it again at the weekend and not just read but understand it, thanks for your help at least I can visualize how it works now but man, these games are getting complicated to run these days and it is not going to get any easier going forward.

If I have only one TP license and several PC's, would it actually be possible to run this game in terminal mode, or does it need as I took from the guide to be run on a client PC. I have read the guide and sort of half understand it but I am unsure of how this relates to TP licences, I am guessing and it really is a guess that you would need to have purchased at least two licences and have my own server ?

It soesn't have quite enough power bro, you might need to reduce the eye candy on it.

I am sure it is dumped as well, don't ever remember seeing a loader, or cracked exe for it though, I could be wrong but I think it was the old 1cc I saw it on ages ago.

It has never worked well for me that game on Teknoparrot, might be worth you trying with jconfig.

@andymage Thanks for the explanation to my question, I get what you are saying, it is the single core speed that counts for frame rate, it is actually a Xeon Gold processor that I have and it doesn't lack in cores or processing power but the single core speed won't be anything like as fast as the processors you mention even with turbo mode, understood and much appreciated.

How does this work in terms of sound, I have a decent spec PC with a RTX 2080 ti which is good enough to run these games at full speed but the sound is either really choppy or just not at the right speed for the game, is there a way to fix it?

You need to add the apm3 dll, either 32 or 64 bit one, I can't remember off hand which one, if like me, you are not sure just add both to the root of the game.

You can set a location for the roms but I don't think you can make it as a portable app at this point in time, not easily anyway, I have not heard of anyone doing it at least.

@kratos1883, yes it is normal as this system is WIP and at quite an early stage of development at this point in time.

Can the sensor error be removed on Dark Escape, apologies, if this has been answered before I did look through the topic but unfortunately did not find an answer. Thanks.
