Tutorial on how to run Tranasformers Human Alliance with TeknoParrot & use Wiimotes as guns

Hey everyone,

 

A lot of people have expressed some difficulty in getting this game to work and more so bind with Nintendo Wiimotes to use as guns so I hope this short tutorial will help!

 

1. First, get the latest version of the TeknoParrot loader here: https://teknoparrot.com/download (you will be prompted to update in the application)

2. Download the game dump from here: https://mega.nz/#!O6JTBabQ!JGeJEbMStkdl3D3S_sIah3LPgw8D1wRJCeWPRepIvhk

3. Run TeknoParrot by opening TeknoParrotUi.exe, click on Game Settings and point to where the EXE game file is:

For example: F:\Arcade games\Games\Transformers\transformers_final\exe\TF_Gun_R_Ring_dumped.exe (tick Free Play & UseMouseForGun, untick Windowed Mode)

4. Click con Controller Setup and map a key for coins, I chose the 0 (Zero) key, then click on Save and exit 

5. For no mouse cursor display download No Mousey config file here https://www.sendspace.com/file/5gh8iq

Extract contents to the root of TeknoParrot and then right-click on the Transformers.exe file and Run as Administrator (it will auto-load TeknoParrot)

6. Once the game starts, wait for title screen to appear and hit the key assigned to coins (zero 0 key) and then Press 1 key to start game

Press ESC to exit game which will also revert mouse cursor

 

7. If you want to use a Nintendo Wiimote as a senor lightgun - get a Mayflash Dolphin Bar here http://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-W010-Wireless-Sensor-DolphinBar/dp/B00HZWEB74/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1448863797&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=+Wireless+Sensor+DolphinBar%28Wiimote+to+PC+USB+%29

 

Set to mode 2 (emulate as Mouse) and aim the Wiimote as a lightgun. Suggest you guy a good gun enclosure like this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-NEW-Blue-White-Quick-Shot-Plus-Gun-W-Dual-Trigger-for-Nintendo-Wii-Wii-U/383171881050?hash=item5936d2e85a:g:qdwAAOSwmMNb2JR3

 

That's it! It works fine for me!

the boxes for lightgun that you report to us are nice! I have never seen them before!

did you tried to play with demulshooter also?

if yes, it could be good to show us a picture of the configuration of demulshooter for everyone!

As i use a simple usb bar, i think i can finally equip myself with the mayflash dolphin bar because it would avoid me to use touchmote.

Hi there, yeah these Wiimotes shells are great as they add a good gun grip, vibration, LED light and makes you feel like holding a gun. It also comes in a Black design (search for it on eBay or Amazon). 

I have never used Demulshooter before but it's pretty simple, it's command based (right-click properties and add commands to the short cut) then launch with Teknoparrot. A more simple way is to just buy another Dolphin Bar (only $12 anyway). USB Bluetooth bars should work the same.

Yes, I heard about that!!!  I nerver imagined this usage could be possible!

 

In all case it is often better to avoid using too much software layers. 

if we could avoid using touchmote, it will be a good thing.  :very-good:

I totally agree...I hate stacking a lot of softwares to get one game to work but sometimes it must be done.

I don't really consider the Dolphin Bar a big issue as it's just plug and play and the Touchmote software takes 2 seconds to load and just sits there behind the scenes so not too bad!

Yeah certainly a cool option for gun games...probably the best option available currently.

Hey buddy, just follow my tutorial here and build your own script it's very easy - just make sure you point to NoMousey as the app after launching the hotkey.

hello, thanks for the tutorial. i setup all the key, the games loads but I cannot insert coin. Any idea ? Maybe I need to delete a temp file / folder somewhere ?

You need to map the insert coin key to a keyboard key, something like 1 or 0.

 

Try starting fresh with a new dump if you’re having issues and ensure you have the latest version of Teknoparrot + run it with Admin rights.

If ever unsure, just download a fresh dump and start from scratch as sometimes the files get corrupted after you install too many plugins. Also try enter and then exiting and re-entering Teknoparrot again!

Using the loader in portal mode with Transformers and TeknoParrot to go full screen 1280x768 however I am getting " error 6401JVS I/O board ". The game will load but throws the error shortly after the game fully boots. This does not happen when not using the loader and running the game in a window. Any fixes? Thx

I am working on getting 2 wii motes and 2 Dolphin Mayflash Bar for Light Gun games. Will those 2 wii motes work properly with all TP Light Gun games like Transformers HA and others for a 2-player experience?

For supported games look here you need demulshooter

For HOTD4 you need to do this to enable second player

This works only for HOTD4 !

Just open the .elf file with any HEX editor, go to file offset 0x2D5827 and replace 0x74 by 0xEB That's all

I have seen that link already thanks anyway. Do all demulshooter supported light gun games work flawlessly with 2-player support using wii mote and demulshooter software?

Thanks for the tutorial, finally got this to run.  However the game crashes when Megatron appears in stage 3.  Is there any fix for this?  I know this was an issue before, but I cannot find a solution online.

The start button won't work, and when I try to insert a coin the sound plays but nothing happens

Not sure if this will work for you but I noticed that Service 1 and 2 corresponded to coin 1 and 2.  So I remapped Service 1 and 2 to the coin buttons on my cabinet.  Probably not ideal but at least it works!
