  1. My game still crashes when the Star Power meter fills up. I have used the latest files, including GHA_exe-crashfix-v1.7z. The games both run as admin with the full screen optimizations checked. I can start the game, hit notes with my Xbox guitar controller, and everything seems to work fine. That is, until the star power fills up and the game freezes. Am I missing something? Thanks and sorry for being dumb. I've read this entire thread about 2-3 times now and I am still confused. I am running Windows 10 if it matters. EDIT - someone sent me a mega link to the latest. I needed patch_v4-crashfix+freeplay+UNLOCKALL.7z which fixed my issue. PROBLEM SOLVED!
  2. [Arcade PC] FFB Arcade Plugin

I've updated to latest MAME and current rom set for it, but I am getting mixed results. Outrun works perfectly, as did a few other racing games that I tested. However, I get no force feedback on my Logitech driving force wheel when playing Cruis'n USA, Cruis'n World, San Francisco Rush, SFR 2049, or SFR: The Rock? I have no idea why some games work and some don't? Are the games I listed supported? They show up on the menu for Force Feedback Setup in the MAME folder. EDIT - Solved Even though I upgraded both Mame and the roms, my front end was still pointing to my older rom folder. Once I pointed it to the latest rom folder the FFB worked as expected.
  3. Is the best way to make the game run smoother at lower resolutions? Also, my monitor is 4:3 1280x1024 I know the ratio will always be off so is there a way to get it centered with black bars on the bottom and top or will it always cover only the top of the screen with the desktop visible beneath the game window?
  4. [Arcade PC] FFB Arcade Plugin

The newest plug-in says it is compatible with earlier version of mame. However, I can assure you now that .174 is not supported. I downloaded .199 and guess what is working now? Yup, force feedback is just fine. I think the word "can" here is important. Because it can, doesn't mean it does. Get version .199 or later!
  5. [Arcade PC] FFB Arcade Plugin

I have an older Logitech Driving Force wheel and pedals, slowly getting this all to work. I had some luck with a couple of game in Teknoparrot having the FFB Plug-in working great. I am struggling to get it to work in MAME. I changed the mame.ini to have the OSD output to windows. I attached my FFB log file hoping someone can help. My wheel and pedals work in MAME (v174) but there is no feedback on the games I tested: Outrun, Cruis'n USA, and Cruis'n World. The only thing I am not sure I have right is this: I use Mala front end to launch my MAME games and can't figure out how to add this to the command line. I tried running these games straight from MAME and there is till no FFB. Any help is greatly appreciated. FFBlog.txt
