I upgraded to version 1.6 and the Time Crisis 2 and 3 games are running slowly. How can I adjust this?

this emulator is good but I can't understand why there are games especially 2D that have the same problem from at least 13/10 years like street fighter zero collection , street fighter III and vampire collection.. unfortunately I'm not jocking 13/10 years ago still not fixed, you have to switch in in directx or OpenGL software mode.

Are they worked good with v.1.5?

Check settings, it's really weird.

Switching renders it's like it works, unfortunately you can use just one render for all games.

agree!!! PCSX2 staff Claim that is bugged cause the horrible slow speed that affect those 2 games using the hardware render,

anyway can you have a stable framerate/interlace in software renderer ? my i3 8100 and gtx 970 can't handle it.

Settings I'm using depend the game I want to play. I haven't one settings for all games and I don't play the 2D games you mentioned with PCSX2, sorry.

 

I can tell you to try different combinations with HW and SW until you find a good one.

J'avais laisse tomber l'emulation ps2 car je trouvais que l'image rendue etait souvent floue ou tremblotante. En re-creusant, j'ai compris que c'etait parce que beaucoup de jeux sortent de la video entrelacee.

Une enorme amelioration pour moi: appliquer des no interlaced mods, car les filtres de desentrelacement (F5 pour en choisir un), marchent mal. Donc, on applique un code de triche qui desactive l'entrelacement. Ex: VF4 Evo: enorme amelioration.

Il faut un peu fouiller le fil car pas de liste complete au debut.
On place les fichiers pnach dans:
.config/PCSX2/cheats/ (sous linux)
et dans PCSX2, Systeme>Activer les codes de triche.

Pas forcement super visible sur ces 2 screenshots (avec/sans), mais sur mon ecran, ca n'a rien a voir.

need help to increase fps setting for time crisis 3  it is lagging bad is there any best settings for pcsx2 for time crisis 3?

 

current specs decent not good but not bad also 

AMD A8 6600K ,GTX 1050Ti 4GB ,10 gb ram  it can play final fantasy 15 windows edition and nier automata at medium to low settings at 30 - 48 fps with no issues.

but lagging bad in time crisis 3 pcsx2.. is there a best setting for time crisis 3?

Which version of PCSX2 you are running?

 

Here it works good with v1.7, it needs only OpenGL HW as video renderer, check Enable HW Hacks and check then Auto Flush and Align Sprite.

I have a problem with only Capcom vs SNK 2, it's not centered as you can see in the picture it's black on the left side and there is a part of the screen missing on the right side. Tried changing resolutions and everything nothing worked. I just decided to add the Dreamcast version and use Flycast unless someone has a fix for PCSX 2 the resolution seems to be better on PS2 so I still prefer PCSX 2. 

 

 

Edit: solved the above problem by using 640 x 480, I guess higher resolutions caused the problem. 

 

The other problem I have with certain games such as Time Crisis 3 is these horrible lines can't get rid of them. I have a GTX 1650. 

 

 

I did fix the lines or at least reduce them with align sprite but it stilll doesn't look right like very pale washed colors in Time Crisis 3. Just looks bad to my eyes.

- Bilinear ( PS2 )

- Allow 8-bit Textures ( check )

- Large Framebuffer ( check )

- Mipmapping Full ( Slow )

- CRC Hack Level Full ( Direct3D )

- Enable HW Hacks ( check )

- Auto Flush ( check )

- Align Sprite ( check )

Hello would anyone be able to assist with setting up police 24/7 with a sinden lightgun and also virtua cop elite edition - I can play the game but cannot seem to navigate in the menus to play virtua cop 2 !  Thanks for any help out there !!!

The last I checked Police 24/7 cannot be played with any lightgun. The reasons are it used a special webcam and didn't use Guncon 2 like most lightgun games on PS2. 

 

Edit: it seems it is possible to buy a webcam to make it work on an actual PS2 if you can still find one of the webcams, but still to my knowledge you can't use PCSX 2 and use a lightgun

Game was also playable with a mouse - In the past managed to get it to work using Nuvee plugin and a Wiimote emulating a mouse - So might be possible with a Sinden as well. Wasn't a great experience, but that might have been because using a wiimote - far better on actual PS2 so didn't waste much time on it.

Had to use PCSX2 version 1.6 rather than the dev build of Version 1.7

In theory might be possible with the Dev build as setting that up to use a mouse in game seems to work, but as the Wiimote emulates a mouse PCSX2 doesn't recognise it as it uses rawinput, whereas I think that Sinden might actually be recognised as a system mouse so could work.

hey ! sorry to butt in...

 

my time crisis 3 on pcsx2 has no crosshair... just the mouse cursor so i am really just using the cursor to know where to shoot...

 

how do i activate the gun crosshair...? thank you !
