I get the game to run directly with 'Hodzero-Win64-Shipping.exe'. Anyone figured out the controls? Alt+F4 quits the game by defualt. Is it only TP that works for now?

Awesome. Looking forward to being able to play again at home. I was stuck on a cruise ship as COVID hit, so I spent a lot of my time playing the arcade machine there. They made it FREEPLAY.

 

HotD III & 4 were disappointing when they released, Scarlett Dawn is a return to form, and I was happy that they finally made another great entry to the series again. Wish I could say the same for Time Crisis.

Is anyone else having issues with the aim being off? During the actual game itself the aiming is spot on....but the selection screen and the screen where you pick your weapons it is way off. Any ideas?

I've been playing for a few hours after tweaking settinsg to get a good frame rate from my low end pc. It's pretty damn great, similar to HotD4, which is still my favourite in the series (4>SD>1>2>3 - I never really liked 3 and Overkill isn't a proper HotD). 

 

I'm wondering if the Japanese version will be available at some point. There don't seem to be many differences from watching a Master mode play through. I've been playing with the default crosshair whilst learning the game, does anyone know if it's possible to change it for a better one? I tried the HotD4 one but no dice, though I'm probably putting it in the wrong folder.

Yep there is an issue currently for certain resolutions etc. Im working on it privately while away on holiday so hopefully will have fix soon.

 

Just waiting on Harm to test my fix out

Did you set your resolution to 1080p? Per Teknoparrot aim in menu will be off if not set at 1080p.

ALLS UX game can't running on win7、win8 and win8.1

Win10 only

and hope someone can share HOTDSD JPN 1.00 Ver origin vhd or base.app

I only have 1.00 jpn 7z file not vhd

can't extect files from SDEE 1.01 UPDATE

Got "The House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn" running without TeknoParrot and without any Problems. And I'm very proud of that. But how do I configure the Controls so I can play and exit this excellent Game? I used JConfig. But somehow is'nt working. Is there a special JConfig for this Game? I could also try it with XPadder if I knew the Game's Key Bindings. Thank you very much in advance for your Help.

Yep...its set at 1080p. Like I said earlier it's only during the weapons selection screen that it's off.

- Do you have the AES key for SDEE? if you do you can extract files from SDEE 1.01 APP even if you don't have base APP, using VHD recovery software

- How do you decrypt .pack file?

He never uploaded the full thing + even the zip he uploaded only had still htpec protected exes.

Segatools will read the Japanese version and not the Export, you'll need the source code to change from SDEE to SDET then you compile it. It is playable without TeknoParrot but the segatools dev only added the code for the Japanese version

Not sure how familiar you are with altering Unreal Engine 4 settings, but there are a number of different config files in 

AppData>Local>Hodzero>Saved>Config>WindowsNoEditor

With all the changes below surprisingly the game still looks good. It was running at 10-20 frames before, now I'm hitting 60 most of the time with a gtx1030.

Try r.ScreenPercentage first as that made the biggest difference. It basically changes the resolution the game renders at without changing the output resolution.

I tried it at 25% and it looked like the Saturn port of HotD1!

Make a back up of all these before altering them in case it screws up, and don't delete anything already in them - and you will notice some of these have the same settings written twice. It's because I'm fumbling around in the dark with this stuff, but it works.

I added the same settings in the game and scalability doc because it didn't make much difference only adding them to one. Weird.
