Hi guys, this game and all of its fixes work fantastic! However, does anyone else experience a lot of deadzone when using a Driving Wheel?

I've set the values to min/max of 0.0 and 1.0 in DATABASE\RuntimeSettings\AnalogAdjust.ini but that does not seem to make a difference.

Is there a way to enter the test menu for me to diagnose the I/O values?

Thank you.

Right, seems the default XInput deadzones are being used.

#define XINPUT_GAMEPAD_LEFT_THUMB_DEADZONE 7849 #define XINPUT_GAMEPAD_RIGHT_THUMB_DEADZONE 8689 #define XINPUT_GAMEPAD_TRIGGER_THRESHOLD

I may compile a version for driving wheels where these are 0 - or read from the ini instead.

See attached slightly modified v1.4 to support two additional settings:

Tested with deadzone of 0.0 for racing wheels in combination with x360ce which works as envisaged.

Not tested with any deadzone above 0 but the maths should work.

The threshold is there to respect the original authors use of the XINPUT TRIGGER THRESHOLD of 30/65536 which would be 0.00046 (or 0 to most humans).

The original steering deadzone was approx 11% (0.11)

Feel free to modify/produce a more formal release.

Thanks for the supporting work.

;Floating point value between 0.0 and 1.0 for steering deadzone
DeadZone=0.1
;Floating point value between 0.0 and 1.0 for throttle and brake thresholds
Threshold=0.0

Many thanks for posting this game ! It´s a fun racer !!

Does anyone know if Test Mode can be accessed to change the difficulty ? In that case which key do I have to press for "Test Mode" and "service", if they exist ?

Everything is working great except that in the menus my steering wheels is super sensitive. I did set the controls and analog setting as mentioned earlier and the analog setting did SEEM to make a difference with the car steering being to sensitive but the menus using the steering wheel are really hard to control.

Attached my dic32.ini with 0 deadzone.

Probably a failing with the xpad set up somewhere.

When I launch this game, I get a black screen, nothing, and after a few seconds the game crashes.It seems that the module called MSVCR80.dll is causing an error when viewed with the windows event viewer.
Is there anything I can do?

This game is really hard to beat ( at least by me, lol ).

It seems all the challengers play to make me lose, maybe I'm wrong but I have this feeling.

In any case it's really good, it has a real Arcade feel and I love it  :)

I uploaded a little video showing I was beaten by Irene :lol:

P.S.

It takes a little time for starting up but all is good in the end.
